Same Mexican village that Gus, Mike, and Jessie fled to after wiping out Eladio and gang in BB?

What’s the play with Saul taking on the old guy as a client against Mesa verde?

the showdown of Kim vs Saul in actual court?

maybe that's the final straw for her as he pulls some scheme

My only thought is that Gus is tailing Mike and he gets taken to Gus's doctor. Racking my brain to think of anything else, but not coming up with anything.

Yeah Gus is definitely keeping an eye on him to make sure he keeps his mouth shut. Not sure why he would bring him all the way to Mexico. Maybe he is doing something to rekindle Mike’s Salamanca hatred to get him back working?

Kim asked him to do it, why would there be a showdown?

we will likely see them faceoff, but IDK why it would be the final straw for Kim...pretty sure she recruited Jimmy to fight against mesa verde on behalf of that dude getting evicted.
She wants jimmy to stall to run the clock out for the guy. It might get her fired or something for being ineffective at enforcing their contracts, but she was literally asking for a saul goodman scheme

Yep. Kim and Saul have something up their sleeve, at Kim’s request.

I think it will also be designed to minimize the blow back she will get from Mesa Verde. She will probably get a little, but I'm betting that Saul does something out of left field that makes it hard for Mesa to blame Kim for the loss.

It also seems like this episode put a dent in the theory that Howard is involved with ISZA. Jimmy hates that guy.

Very true. It's hard to see where this new Hamlin angle is heading. I'm not buying that HHM is doing as well as he says though. He seemed kind of desperate last night.

I agree I think they are hurting and he just wants Jimmy so he can say they have Chuck’s brother.

And Saul saw right through Howard’s bullshite. Hence the bowling ball toss.

Nah, managing how much crap she gets will likely be baked in to the plan.

So did the first scene of the episode happen chronologically? Because if that is true, he had already planned to wreck Howard's car before the lunch meeting.

ETA: I guess the first scene in the second-hand store actually took place after the lunch meeting?

Is this the first episode of a show in the Breaking Bad universe that you’ve ever seen?

Filler seems to be a taboo word here.

We all think the show is a masterpiece. Every episode is gold.

Maybe ‘setup’ is a more appropriate word. When a show’s ‘setup’ episodes are as riveting as the ‘payoff’ episodes, you know the writers are next level.
