I can't wait for one of his ridiculously elaborate Wile E. Coyote type plots in the next one and when told that it can't work says, "sure it will. It's in the script"

Thought it was great.

I knew nothing of the character nor the ad campaign, I just heard Deadpool was awesome and that it was a rated R superhero film.
Now what does rated R mean to you? I think adult content, the only thing "adult" was profanity every other word and a couple nude screens. This was not engaging adult content, it was as juvenile as fart jokes. Take out the brief nudity and we are talking pg-13 at best.
It was poorly written and used low brow smut to elevate a straight to dvd movie. Only people who like top-40 music would love this movie.

Well I'm glad you didn't like it, and I'm glad you feel like you wasted your money

It was exactly what I'd hoped it would be, and I'll gladly pay to watch it again.

Thats exactly what R rating means.....And why I can't take my 10 yr old son to see it.

The violence alone should get it an R rating.

We get it, you don't like Deadpool

Its a cheap way to get that rating. I can take shrek and add a frick scene and make it xrated, but is the whole movie really an xrated movie?
Se7en was r-rated, usual suspects was r-rated....did those have nudity or over the top profanity? That's adult content.
This movie is for teenagers who want to think their cool. The idiot comments that people keep referring about how they took shots at Hollywood.... Is the EXACT opposite.
They were telling you all how dumb as frick you all are. "Here's the formula"... Handsome guy, unlikable teen, hot girl, CGI....its like me making a rap song
1. Talk about bitches
2. Tell em how rich I be
3. Tell em I dont give a frick
4. Tell em I commit crimes
5. Add a dance

Ha. Just as I expected. Money=greatness
Furious 7 is the 6th greatest movie of all time and frozen is 9th.
Such a shallow determinant. You peole are the reason why "hope" posters worked in 2008. Please have someone else raise your children.

Dude, you were the last person to post. That wasn't a knock against you, it's just a picture. Calm down

Ok so let me get this straight.
You didn't know who Deadpool was.
This means you clearly aren't a fan of comic books.
I doubt that means you are a big fan of comic book movies.
You didn't know much about the advertising campaign that was getting multiple threads and a ton of love on a forum you frequent.
That means you weren't checking out the Deadpool threads on here.
Yet you still went and saw the movie at the theater anyways.
Do you normally go to movies about stuff you aren't interested in, and have no clue about? I will give you a hint, Titanic wasn't about a plane and Star Wars isn't a 1950's crime noir film.

Exactly. Did he even watch the trailer?
It was advertised exactly how the movie ended up.
I understand not liking a movie. I mean, it isn't for everyone, but not liking a movie because it wasn't what you thought it would be even though you ignored or didn't see a single bit of advertisement?
Like the previous poster said, that is akin to being disappointed that Titanic was a romance.

so is this another fan boy mess like with starwars?
no idea who this new spiderman looking thing is or what his powers are, ut did anyone see it and enjoy it that isn't a Fan of comic book heroes?
quote:
God no. I've never read an X-man comic in my life much less Deadpool and this was hilarious.
cool, then I'll go. I stopped paying for this genre after the first Hulk remake.
So now I need to be a fan boy?
Posted on 2/14/16 at 2:55 pm to Kujo
quote:No, but you would have had an idea of what the movie was going to be like if you would have WATCHED A TRAILER OR ANY OF THE ADS.

This isn't complicated. The ad campaign didn't try to trick you. It was EXACTLY as advertised.
It's fine if you aren't a fan, but at least have a better reason than, "it wasn't what I thought it was going to be like even though I didn't pay attention to any of the trailers or ads".
