We're finally getting some meat on the bone for Rebecca's & Miguel's relationship.
Wonder what's going to happen to PTA baw, for him and Rebecca to stop seeing each other?
Man, it must've been so satisfying to slap Kate.
Kevin can't get out of his own way. He's the worst celeb swinging dick. Ever. He desperately wants to be in a relationship, but is in serious denial about it.

At this point, I have zero interest in Deja and Malik. That's all pretty boring filler.
At least there was a bit more substance to this episode with Rebecca and Miquel and the squabble with Kate over Rebecca dating.
Why do I keep thinking there is a long period of time that Rebecca and Miquel don't see each other and reconnect on Facebook or something like that?
Kevin is definitely desperate and that's getting old.

There was. That's what they showed happening. Rebecca gets a FB message from Miguel out of the blue.
My money's on that he can't even because Rebecca's dating PTA dude, and moves to CA to be near his kids, since Shelly moved away with them, after the divorce.

Correct. Kinda. Toby gets a call from Randall or Kevin, can't remember which, saying that the end is near. It's clear that Kate is not with Toby.
Man, this last season seems to be really dragging out.
And Kate telling Becca they don't want her to watch the kids anymore, that was hard to take man. Kate has been a shitass this whole show, and isn't really redeeming herself in the home stretch.

This Is Us at first was so appealing with the jumping around eras & timeframes. Now it is old.

I missed watching Heart and Soul, just saw it and I am baffled now. Kate is such a bitch. I think her want of everything spoiled brat ways is intolerable. It brings me to saving a dogs life over her dads. Granted, would Jack have had a widow maker heart attack w/o that fire stress?
I professionally know Becca's disease very well, and that was so ignorant of Kate to forbid her mom her only joy of watching those grand babies like she did. So many other ways to assess or work out. That was cruel and it makes me despise Kate even more.

And part 1 was episode 49 of the show way back in season 3. Have no clue what happens in it or what necessitates it being part 2 of that story. I guess we will see soon

I noticed during the credits that the actress who plays Beth co-wrote the episode. Very well done.

They needed a payoff to explain why Beth was teaching at the swanky dance school when they teased it back during the big flash-forward at the end of Season 3, (IIRC). At the time, she was getting her private school off the ground, and we're led to believe that she builds that up to some massive organization. They also did the headfake that Randall and Beth were separated/divorced, but they resolved that with the next reveal of the Flash Forward at the cabin when presumably Rebecca is on her death bed.
