What I took from it was Miguel was completely forgotten in the afterlife, kind of like life.

Overall, a very disappointing finale for a series. I was relieved when it ended, which is sad.

They should have ended it with last week’s episode.

Beth & Sophie doing their impressions of their husbands as they figured what they were saying during the talk about Rebecca's care was a highlight of the season.
The train was amazing...
I haven't watched the finale yet. But the above I quoted you saying was my fav as well.

I fully expected a Six Feet Under type of ending with a montage showing the final moments of life for everyone eventually ending in the train. Glad they didn't.

Yeah.. they really did Miguel wrong. He was in the show from the start, was married to Rebecca for at least 10-15 years, dedicated his remaining life to her and her snobby family, finally gets his own episode (which was great) and then gets a few lines on the train which he's then brushed off and ignored. Oh.. and he get's mentioned in a throwaway line in a joke in the finale. Poor guy: "You were my favorite person!" Rebecca "That's nice, gotta go"

the casting for the adult actors was so crazy spot on. She looked like teen Deja and spoke like her. The other adult/older kids were right on too.
The deja actress didn't change from teen to adult.
I thought the last season was pretty good, there were definitely some great episodes and it probably should have ended with the second to last episode but overall I thought they did a nice job

Teen Deja was played by Lyric Ross
Adult Deja was played by La Trice Harper
