After tonight it goes into the Disney Vault right beside Song of the South and Walt's bachelor party video.

Movie was great. What stuck out to me was how young a lot of them looked and the narrators saying they were 15-17 when they enlisted. Fighting in wwi at 15 years old. No fricking thanks.

Also the eyes. The eyes are haunting and pierce your soul. Seeing the few guys get wrecked by artillery knowing that was real and not fake like in a movie was sombering.

The shakes and just hopelessness. Really sucks there wasn’t more battle footage, but I mean.... that’s quite understandable for why there isn’t much of that available.

Overall a fantastic movie and should be a must watch in every single high school history class.

Loved it! It's definitely not something I'm going to forget.

Worth catching in theaters.

The show was fantastic. I know you can view it online, but this is worth seeing in theaters.

Also, if you want to see what misery is like, you will see it in the show.

Absolutely. In a completely different way than depicted in band of Brothers.

Some of that stuff I didn't need to see in 3D HD

ETA the way the British and German soldiers interacted was heart breaking. Makes you really think about the idiocy of all wars.

Yup.

You can see why the Marxists were hoping the troops on both sides would rebel and overthrow the upper classes. Another year or two of that crap and who knows.....

With all the misery they were going through, those soldiers always had a smile on their face and they were goofing around.

Saw it tonight. Jackson's explanation of the process he went through to make the movie was pretty interesting.

Really great retelling from a soldier’s point of view.

Glad we saw it.
