10/10 for me. Unbelievably striking film that without a doubt deserved Best Sound.

As an aside, I was surprised to see Sandra Hüller not getting more credit for starring in two Academy Award-level films in one year (that and Anatomy of a Fall).

SPOILER:

Such a powerfully uncomfortable tone throughout, but in particular, over breakfast when Hedwig nonchalantly notes, "I could have my husband spread your ashes across the fields of Babice," my jaw dropped.

The truly amazing part is how they never actually show the victims or the camps

Should be shown along side some of the all time great WW2 films.

Such a powerful movie without saying a whole lot.

Placed a bet on it for best sound right after seeing it. While Oppenheimer's sound was awesome, the sound told the story in Zone of Interest

Loved how they ended the movie as well.

I chose this movie to watch on a flight home Saturday, because there was nothing else that piqued my interest, and I’m so glad I did.
A hauntingly excellent film, that says so much while saying so little.
