3 pages ago, did you not agree with CR that they don't need any new hot chicks?

I said it because the rule is generally true. If you just recruit hot chicks to be on your show, more than likely the acting suffers, especially in Television. Rarely do you find one to do both. We're already stuck with the leftovers from Prison Break.

A couple examples of hott sucky actors from recent television:

1. Mooseknuckle from Lost (Maggie whatever, she was Taken)

2. Dexter's Dead Wife (whatever her name is she sucked balls in Boondock Saints 2 and her Dexter role IMO).

I'm sure there are others but those are the two most prominent.

plus you can end the risk of a clinger by putting a bullet in their head once done.

Makes sense. Just got me thinking watching the pilot and seeing all those boxes of supplies stacked up. I am sure they have some grenades, claymores, etc.. in there. Line the street make some noise then BOOOM kill a couple hundred at once.

You should read World War Z and see why this does not really work. You just slow them down a little.

people keep referring to this but I'm not sure you can compare these zombies to those zombies. Pretty sure these Zombies aren't Navy SEALS that can attack from under water. And if you line out some AP mines I'm sure there will be a few head shots with shrapnel in the kill zone. It's better to booby trap those frickers than take a risk of doing it live and up close IMO. And if it doesn't kill them it's gonna take off some limbs and legs strongly diminishing the threat.

exactly why a moat or deep pit would be high on my priority list.

If you have a group the size of the one he ran up against in the tank in downtown ATL a few claymores and grenades are not going to do much damage. you will get a few, but you will attract many more than you can kill.

And? that's why you do like he said and find a roof top and keep a safe distance. Or again like he said booby trap a horse or cow and let them run to the crowd. I don't know too many people that set up claymores and sit on top of them waiting for them to explode.

why kill them period unless they are swarming you or breaking your perimeter? sport?

i'd just let them die once they run out of flesh.

Because the more that are dead the better, especially in populated areas, it would make scrounging and pillaging that much easier with time. And yeah, entertainment. There is no TV or teh intrawebz so if you have access to explosives, why not have some fun. The ATF won't be around to enforce anything.

well apparently these frickers just lay dormant until they see people coming then they have all the energy in the world. They aren't dying off from not eating.

good points. it would be fun to invent ways to kill zombies especially if you had a badass tank to protect you in get away situations.

it's Global so probably all the islands are touched by it too. But that's definitely the right idea, I'd find an island anywhere, could be a lake, that has no people and some brush. That would be perfect. And having a boat would be even better.

i said the same somewhere earlier, get a yacht, set sail to some tropical island. there's bound to be zombies but a damn site less than in Atlanta.

If you live on say a 1 or 2 acre sized island with trees and shite, you have access to birds and fish. More than enough water and stuff to build a shelter with. You knock out food, water and shelter right there and it's totally safe. And once you've been acclimated to an environment or "get your bearings" the sky is the limit. You become creative and all knowing of your environment ala Tom Hanks in Castaway.

The key is familiarity...ZDay occurs...I'll hunker down for a few weeks till shite dies down, then make my way down to Grand Isle to my boat...one way in, out...unlimited food supply and I know the area.

Talk about money. Could technically go live on a Rig if you could make it out that far in the Gulf.

I would also steal a monster truck.

You could just tear through a highly populated zombie territory and just make grease stains out of a lot of fricking zombies.

IMO that would be the ideal vehicle for Z-day. I mean of course if you aren't able to engineer one like the picture Cokes posted way back in this thread.

last night Rick said they were a few miles northwest of the city right? Assuming outside the city means outside the perimeter, that puts them really, really close to Dobbins AFB.

I have been living in the ATL area for nearly two years. I don't know everything about the area but I have seen a quarry type area near Stone Mountain. I forgot about the AFB in Marietta, it would be worth looking into.

You are correct. Any place with in walking distance of the Atl is very urban. I past Loganville and its still urban out here.

Best safety idea IMO would have been check 1) CDC 2) AFB 3) commandeer a house boat on Lake Lanier and anchor off shore at night and scavenge during the day.

Terds Cow bomb is a pretty good idea and sounds like fun!
