I always look forward to TWD, but AHS is the much better show.

what are you trying to get at?

Honestly, the best way to go into the AHS series is with complete unknown.

This season focuses on a church-run/affiliated insane asylumn that is home to a serial killer.

I am not starting one of those douchey "when does it get better" threads, but I don't find The Walking Dead to be very good. The comic is great, but the writing on the show is very weak.

Murphy's other inspiration for the show came from the AMC series The Walking Dead, which premiered in 2010.[12] He called it "the greatest TV viewing experience" of his life last year

I agree AHS > The Walking Dead

I think there is more overall to the show of AHS.

Thats the best way to watch it. Just watch the first season without amy background knowledge and thank me later

ETA in fact, we treated te season thread last year like the Olympics. If you run into some spoilers online, dont you dare ruin it for us or we will cut you.

Serious question to anyone that likes Walking Dead: Do you care about any of the characters?

I liked the show and think it did a good job with zombies and various situations, but I didn't give 2 shits if anyone died/I wanted a few to die.

ETA: I watched all the way to ep 2 of season 2

AHS all the way, but I'm not a big zombie fan.

The characters are much more likable and easier to empathize with in the comic. Breaking Bad gets some shite on this board for being overhyped, but I've never seen a show as hyped as TWD, and it's average at best.

Some argue that you don't have to like the characters, but it's a dumb argument. It's the bad writing that make them unbearable.

TWD is too cool
For the non conformist crowd, similar to The hangover as a comedy

Yeah. I like Rick, Herschel, Glen, and Darryl.

We're all very proud that you gutted thru eight episodes. If you could've held on another couple episodes, it got way better after that. And I mean that seriously.

I love TWD, but c'mon, it's flawed. It got a lot better after Mazzara took over. I think season three is easily going to be the best.

Any episode when darryl uses his crossbow is the best episode.
