Would someone please explain to me why this entire season couldn't have been as awesome as this episode.

They nailed the ending; leaving us wondering wtf will happen next. I see them jumping forward 6 months or so and backfilling with flashbacks.

Rick shooting her helps bring the group back together IMO. He showed he still had the balls to make the tough call.

How pissed is he going to be a Herschel for letting him search for so long knowing Sophia was already a Walker.
