It would be a huge spoiler definitely. That is why I don't post spoilers, what I put was more "they've been seen filming in the groups they left the prison together in".

Except that you said that about a character in response to people directly discussing whether or not they had died in the episode.

I apologize for that one, I posted that in the wrong thread. But I mean people have laid good evidence based on what we saw in show that she isn't dead.

It's spoilerish in that it says he doesn't die anytime soon.

Does it? It doesn't tell you ANYTHING about his character, just that someone filmed him on set. He could be visiting the set, they could be deliberately trying to throw people off, he could be on the set filming a flashback, there are literally hundreds of scenarios on why he could be there. To say that is a major spoiler is just a giant leap based on not knowing any of the details.

The black dude who died a couple seasons back was on the regular guys in atlanta and literally said that they still pay him to be on set.

I thought they made it clear who died. They do an "In Memoriam" on Talking Dead.

People don't have to guess at this.

I disagree with this. Lori was in the show long after she died...in Rick's insanity world

Makes me wonder if the Governor saw Ghost Andrea. We had jokingly said that what would kill him would have been Merle's clap that she ended up giving to the Governor.

Again: Is the Gov in the comics? Does he have an eyepatch? Is the prison in the comics? Is Michonne in the comics? Did she have walker pets? Did Shane turn in the comics? Did Carl shoot him?

All of those things have been pretty big parts of the show, and all are from the comics, are they not?

Dude, I'm agreeing with you. People don't need to spoil specifics from the comic before they happen. My point was though, beyond those general outlines that the show uses, everything else is its own beast, so people that like to argue "well it happened like this in comic" are making a pointless argument because the show is so different.

That would have been a terrible way to die.

True, and that's what discussion is all about. But let it be discussion instead of busting in with the answer that you already know (be it based on the comics, some other site, blogs, who is on set, whatever).

Also realize that long before you were here, nonreaders were having solid discussions busted up by readers with their all-knowing information.

Like BilJ said, there would be discussion about who the black chick with the sword was, and some readers would bust in with "OMG that's Michonne and she's a badass and she this and that..blah blah." Or we'd be discussing the prison and readers would be like "Oh the prison..finally! Just wait, you guys..." That's bullshite, man. Let us figure out what is big and important on our own...we don't need the guidance that readers seem to think we do. One dude even said that he was guiding GoT nonreaders because it was like watching his kids react to Christmas morning. That's fricked IMO.

shite, people even take to posting nonreader names into spoiler thread/posts just in case they joxy themselves (you may not know what that means), or even email them spoilers (that happened to me and at least one other person that I know of).

I wouldn't do anything like that you guys. I just assumed it was like everywhere else that once it was shown on TV then its fair game, ie referring to something that happened during the Farm arc would be ok now because its already happened on tv.

Yeah I mean people have said it looks like Tyreese (who had been shot) picked her up and ran with her and that is where the blood on the carseat came from.

Makes sense because when do walkers stop to unbuckle a carseat?

As long as it's just TV-related, and not something from the comics, then you are correct.

TD =/= everywhere else, and has its own rules. I'm just asking that you follow them accordingly, that's all.

Why? How would old comic information from stuff that already ended in the show have any affect on people's enjoyment of the show?

It won't, but it's completely unnecessary and goes against the rules of the thread. Then someone sees it and expands on it, and then you have comic discussion and spoilers in the "no comic discussion" thread.

Yeah. Some GoT readers last season were like "So-and-so, ya'll don't joxy your name because they are trying to spoil you in the reader thread."

And then I got an email saying "Hey, this is Lester Earl from TD.." and in the email was just line after line of GoT spoilers, all the way up through the current book I imagine (there were a couple paragraphs I think). I saw the first one (a Red Wedding spoiler) and recognized what it was and stopped reading. Then I talked to LE and it wasn't him. But the email was something like "lesterearlTD" or something like that. Plus, I just assume everybody dies in GoT anyway.

I'm still on book 2 and have heard about this... so I know it happens. I just have no idea past that.

That's pretty fricked up though.
