Being able to belt out nothing but high notes don't impress me either. With that said, being able to have some kind of range to go along with a unique voice does. I was a Melanie fan and I love Indy music, but showing no growth or the ability to show some dynamic range was her kryptonite. The same goes with Caroline who I was also a fan of. There's a big difference having a great tone and being a great singer.

Melanie was terrible. Just terrible.
Caroline was my favorite on this season... I think Ryan Innes was my second favorite but he got cut the week before in favor of that Karina bitch that sucked.

It was very bad last season. He wears a lot of clothes, hair, beard, scarves and sweats. His attire is part of schtick, I guess, but he looked like he was about to walk outside in Chicago in January.
