I'm way behind y'all.
Almost couldn't handle the start of the show. My gut and heart just hurt.
I wasn't bowled over by Nick's first performance. He still seems to be holding back or he just can't push it any further. Bothers me. I like him, but I'm thinking he's just not as good as we first thought he was. I expected him to get better, but he really hasn't.
Cassidee singing the same song again was strange. I loved it, though. She's just damn good. I love her voice. I wish she would have done something new. Could hurt her.
Teary eyed again with Terry seeing his Dad.
Loved the Blake/Terry duet.
Hmmm....Nick doing the same song, too. Guess that's just what they're doing for one of the songs, tonight. Sort of boring. Guess it won't hurt Cassidee, after all. I'd have picked that one, too.
I'm getting bored with Nick and I hate that, but he's gotten old. All that bowing and praying is even more annoying. I think he's good, but not the winning kind of good.
More later.

Watching with a little delay.
Damn! That was an absolutely beautiful, touching and classy opening. Much props.
Nicholas David - He's doing a fricking MEDLEY??? What the frick? Where the hell is "Rainy Night in Georgia", Cee-lo? Epic fail in concept. Hrmmm... okay, big points for the flaming piano, that's pretty awesome. I didn't care for the Jerry Lee Lewis part, but he pulled out some good moments with Jimi's song (although I think he got a little odd with too many parts). All in all it looked and sounded like someone on the end of their tour who decided to just let it all loose on their last night. If nothing else, the crowd really seemed to like it.
Carson says they are re-singing select songs? Wtf? What a rip-off.
Cassadee - Okay, I can forgive this one. She makes this song. And if I were there I could see my face in her dress #doubleentendre
XTina-the-mad-hatter. stfu and go away already.
Blake & Terry doing Aerosmith... Terry is doing a passable job, but I would like to hear more feeling from him during the first part of the song. Blake, on the other hand, needs to stick with country music. If he were to show up on any other music show singing that, he would get laughed off the stage. Terribad idea is terribad.
Nicholas David & Lean On Me v2 - I have to say, I was digging the soulful piano in the beginning. He kind of starting getting a little too loose with the song at the beginning but quickly brought it back. Solid performance, but I really want to hear him tackle something else.
Terry & Broken Wings... This could be really good or really bad. This song is really built for someone with a powerhouse voice like his, but it may be a bit quirky and mild for the show. They are going to have to rock it up or something for it to not be flat.
The song felt like it was lacking a bit something until he got to the part about the blood making him whole. It started gelling a good bit more, but I don't know if it was enough.
Blake and Cassadee doing a Sheryl Crow song? I have the feeling this is going to be a bit like the Terry & Blake song where Blake's partner will do muuuuch better than he will.
Looks like I was right, but then again no one needs to be Ms. Cleo to have predicted that. =P
Terry & I Want to Know What Love Is v2 - I know many on here didn't care for it the first time, but I still think his stripped down rendition is excellent.
Cee-Lo & Nicholas and Play That Funky Music...
Good lord. Nick has too much funk while Cee-Lo seems to be in funkiness debt so deep he's about to have his funkiness foreclosed on. Worst. Performance. Of. The Season.
Cassadee - I'm going to take another not-so-hard-to-make-prediction and say she's going to knock it out of the park. Good song, really good performance. I think the think about Cassadee is that when she performs it's not hard to imagine she's doing it in front of some giant sold-out arena instead of a smaller tv show crowd.
Prediction: Cassadee Pope, winner of The Voice.

You'd hire someone from TD? (Other than myself, of course. I'm worth it, but not on the market.)

I can't believe people are bothered by tattoos. Not my thing but I don't care if someone else has them.

It's not the tattoos that bother me, it's just the fact they cover part of her arm that makes her look a little trashy
