I'm watching the tape of the Voice right now. I'll tape both the Voice and XFactor just in case.

I love the blind auditions on The Voice, but I got a little bored with it last season once those were over. Hoping it will be better this season. So far, singer quality seems higher.

Hi Bee. How have you been?

Not as strong a group of singers overall as last night, but some were good.

arse-slapper/Redneck Wrestler (haven't decided which name to go with for him yet) has a good voice, but needs some polish.

Harry Bieber was really good. Shocked he didn't get all 4 chairs.

The brunette chick that went with Shittina did a good job, was shaky in a couple of spots but could belt it like nobody's business.

Yeah, this is my favorite part of the voice, the blind audition.
It's going to be interesting to see how the show goes with the coaches getting 16 singers each. Seems a little much but I'm hoping the show keeps us interested past the audition rounds this time.

I have been doing pretty well as of late. Extremely busy the last couple months. Rarely have been posting on here but am back for the singing shows.

Still having arm issues but its a marathon not a sprint. I am going to shoot you a big update soon. You been doing well, Gris?

I'm good, Bee. Been a little worried about you since I haven't seen you around. Glad to see back to chat about singing. I probably won't get to watch a lot live, but I'll sure stop in the threads. Have The Voice on pause right now. About to start it up again.

Looking forward to you update!

Did you watch last night's Voice yet? If so, who you like so far?

I watched, but I don't know anyone's names yet! I didn't pay attention to names. I liked quite a few of them. I just finished watching the guy who had his jaw wired shut. Nice smooth voice. Not sure how far he'll go, but he was good. The girl in the white dress was really good.

I'll read it in installments.

He's from my hometown up here in big ole Iowa. I was pleasantly surprised. I think Blake can do good things with him.

Havent seen anyone mention Brian Key. I think that was his name. The guy who's dad has 2 grammys. I thought he was great. Great song choice and he killed it. Gotta be a front runner IMO. First to get all 4 chairs.

Disagree. Scotish New Orleans guy is frontrunner. They're going to teach that guy some stage presence and he's going to go a long way. Seriously could have turned away and thought I was listening to the radio.

I know I'm late to this thread, but I'd like to know who Blake was talking about when he said what he did about fake country artists. He's right though. IMO, Brantley Gilbert is one of them. Can't stand that guy.

Ex Boy Bander should have stuck with singing instead of dancing. He sounded out of breath during a lot of his performance.

The gal that sang Hallelujah didn't really impress me. Maybe it was something you could only feel/hear if you are in the room?

The Nigerian... Hells to the yeah! I love that song and it's one I have been wanting to hear someone come on and do acapella. About all the accompaniment he had was his guitar, so that was fine. I was like Adam, waiting for that particular "I know, I know" part to see what kind of chops he really had.

Domo... Someone shoot this psychotic bitch, please. There's confidence and there's egotism, she definitely falls in the latter category. I agree with Cee-loo that the song really wasn't the best to showcase her voice, but the parts at the beginning and end where she could really cut loose proved that she did indeed deserve to be up there. Still, I predict she will be the drama source for this season.
