Holy shite this movie is wild
Definitely worth a watch and if you enjoy this one, watch Headhunters. The lead is in that one as well along with Jamie Lannister.

A dysfunctional couple, Lars (Aksel Hennie) and Lisa (Noomi Rapace), head to a remote cabin under the guise of reconnecting, but each has intentions to kill the other. Before they can carry out their plans, unexpected visitors arrive and they are faced with a greater danger.

It's usually kind of annoying when they give a movie a title that's already been used. But that Peter Fonda movie from the 60s was awful. It was filmed in a cool house, though.

Right? If you can't come up with something as basic as an original title (unless it is a remake), it will take a lot of great p.r. to get these eyes on your project.

I agree with y'all.
If it helps, the actual original title is I onde dager.
It is Norwegian.
I was excited to watch this, but not as enthusiastic now that I see it is foreign. I know there are some fantastic foreign movies. I just don't always feel in the mood to read subtitles and some dubs are weird.
To the OP, did you watch subbed or dubbed?

Yeah. And it sucks when you're trying to find a movie, see that it's there, and then realize that it's not the one that you were looking for.

You could go on and on...
The first big movie was:

Always subbed. Dubbed is never an option.
Where is SFP? That guy will love this movie. He’s the only other person I know that has seen Headhunters.

Boat trip is terrible and awesome

The dubbing actually made this movie a better experience for English only audiences. Wish more did it.
My only complaint (not just for this film): Quit having your characters leave the weapons behind after every struggle. I realize it serves some purpose but at least quit making it so obvious. Every time in this one.

Thanks for the recommendation. I loved this dark humor movie. The boat trip was a little dumb but enjoyed the hell out of it

As an aside, after seeing Lamb, which takes place in Iceland, I looked up Noomi Rapace because I knew she was Swedish. Aside from her native language, she is also fluent in Icelandic, Norwegian, Danish, and English, and I think she's made movies in all of these languages, which is pretty impressive.

Lamb is a quiet, weird movie. Not much action, just a couple living in a very remote rugged area, and... a lamb.
There's a payoff at the end, but it's mostly just quiet and quirky, no real tension until the last chapter.

Also, watch Headhunters..I think it’s still on Prime. It’s awesome and the same vibe as The Trip.
