I guess it debuted on AMC and now the first 2 seasons are on Amazon Instant. I took a strange path to get here: Watched Chernobyl and was impressed with Jared Harris, and I also enjoy the vibe of Widow's Bay. Anyone seen this? I've only watched the first 2 episodes of Season 1, but it seems to be very well done. There is a heavy sense of dread. So far, I highly recommend it.

The first season was excellent and I was heavily invested and loved it (some people didn't care much for the ending IIRC).
I was pumped for the second season and bailed after the first episode or episode and a half. Not even sure why, I just think maybe the subject matter didn't stick for me and I remember thinking it was boring whereas I was completely intrigued by the first season.
It's an anthology too, so S1 is its own complete story arch, in case you were wondering. I'd love to go back and watch it, but last I checked it was only on the AMC subscription thing (which is stupid that it wasn't also on demand since I have cable and AMC).

If you have Prime, the first season HD is only $5.99. At least, that was the case Sunday.

That's my point though, I don't want to pay for it. I pay for streaming services and also have AMC/cable. So it's bullshite that I have to additionally pay to watch it.

First season is very good

I enjoyed the premise of the first season, and a friend suggested to read the book.
That was an absolute blast, and really brought the TV show to life with some great added context

Yeah, I can understand that. That's a little ridiculous.
