Obviously a whole new perspective on Ben which makes the final outcome between Ben and Reece in Terminal List that much more shocking.
I'd say that you almost have to have a second season of Dark Wolf.

This was fantastic.

And Ben's story isn't where it needs to be, not yet

It ending with him joining ground branch, Vic coming into it, etc sets it up perfect for a next season

Really good show. Taylor is one of the more underrated actors out there. Guess he get shite for John Carter being a failure but he’s great in everything I’ve seen him in.

I assume the Pablo Schrieber character is in the books?

So he's former CAG? Great casting.they're clearly not over thinking anything. Just get the handful of his on Hollywood who actually have some testosterone.

Disney's marketing division intentionally killed John Carter in order to justify buying Lucasfilm; Kitsch's performance was fine.

And that makes me aggravated about John Carter again... we had a universe set up with:
Taylor Kitsch
Mark Strong
James Purefoy
Willem Dafoe
Ciaran Hinds

all in big recurring roles.

Yeah it was a phenomenal show. One of my favorites of the year. That final battle when Reece and the boys came back and saved him was badass. Can't wait for season 2.

I can’t wait for Savage Son to be turned into a season. I know True Believer should be next.

One of the best parts of Reece and team showing up in the Dark Wolf finale was seeing the shadow of that Winkler Tomahawk. Oft mentioned in the book. I’d love to buy one but can’t justify the $800 price tag lol

Isn't there going to be a Terminal List film soon, too?

I’m about half way through an OG terminal list rewatch for a bit of a refresher before I start this.

Going to be kind wild watching dark wolf knowing what ultimately happens to the character, but what has been the board’s consensus on dark wolf? Did you guys enjoy it as much as terminal list?

Personally I liked it significantly more. But I was a huge fan of the Terminal List series of books. I liked the books so much it’s hard to put something on film better.

Did feel like Dark Wolf had more action with some really good battle scenes.

Yeah my cousin said he couldn’t even finish the series because it was so different from the books. The rare case where I’m glad I haven’t read the books first, because terminal list is a really good, and rewatchable, ride.

Went back and tried watching Terminal List again. I forgot how flawed that show was from a pacing standpoint. Way, way, way too much flashback and family stuff.

It was basically a 2.5-3 he film they stretched into 8 eps. Had a ton of bloat.

Dark Wolf, they figured out the pacing a lot better. No fluff. No family BS. Just espionage and intrigue. It's a much leaner and better series to me. The setting also helps, but the spy world and Europe is much more interesting from a narrative standpoint. Terminal List was kind of all over the place.

It still bums me out knowing how Terminal List and Dark Wold ultimately end. The character has so much potential. Going to be very interesting to see how much they can milk what is only about a 5-6 yr period between Dark Wolf and Terminal List.
