OK, so I was late to the party but actually glad. Wife and I have been watching it since late January and are down to the last episode we will watch tonight. No idea what will occur. What I do know is that the wife is never happy with how a series ends. I’ll expect no less tonight.

Hate when a series is over for me; like losing a family member.

you are not the only one, my son and I watched it over the last 3 months. What a show.

About halfway through the last season he compared it to breaking bad how you root for the main character in the beginning, but then realize how shitty and bad of a person they are.

I'll give it a few years and do a rewatch.

I've done no telling how many rewatches of The Sopranos. I get sad during the last season because I know it's coming to an end. I feel you.

Luckily, I'll basically start it over again and get re-happy. There is absolutely nothing ever created, or will ever be created that is remotely close to The Sopranos, for me. Nothing.

I envy you for the first time experience. I can remember exactly where I was and how I felt when it ended.

It’s better if you don’t watch it

Well we finished it. Both looked at each other like WTH? But I didn’t exactly hate it either.

Rewatches are just as good. That's what sets The Sopranos apart from other shows. It's such a character driven show, that even the rewatches are fricking fantastic. The humor, the personalities of everyone, how it all ties together and bleeds into everything. I love picking up on new things on rewatches.

Just finished watching it for the second time just the other day. I enjoyed watching it the 2nd time more so than the 1st. Picked up on shite I didn't realize the first time watching it, and it was a lot funnier than what I remembered.

That or Breaking Bad. The two greatest shows ever created.

Overrated show but I will never not die laughing during the scene when Patsy name-drops Ralph Bunche and whacks the black dude in the head with the pipe.

The two funniest lines in the show IMO:

Where Tony finds out Richie is dating Janice he says, "10 years you thought about Janice? There are men in the can better looking than my sister."

Also Paulie seeing Vito and Bobby together and says, "Oh look at that! It's like an ad for a fricking weight loss center. Before, and the waaaaaaaaaaay before."
