More than likely a freak of the highest order but the show went downhill after Masterson was s***canned.

the chemistry between masterson and kutcher was great. doesn't matter who they put in the role,it would never be as good.

They should have brought Topher Grace in to replace Masterson. He couldn't do nearly as badly as Dax.

Rooster was always the best part of the show, but I’ll watch the ending, just you know, to see how it ends.

It’s not as good without Rooster but I’m disappointed, I really like the show

I agree going with Topher Grace would have been their best shot. The show is depressing as hell now with all the misfortune they keep facing. Maybe they will let them win a few this season.

Holy crap they used Maggie to shoe horn every SJW issue the could in the last few episodes. Besides that, not an awful ending.

It was better than last season, though the comic timing was still horrible. Without Rooster the show just wasn’t funny at all. The humor attempts were forced and jarring. The ending was good. But Maggie, damn! Her entire purpose was to read the socialist left agenda bullet points. And on the weighty side on the show, Elisha Cuthbert looked to be down to a solid 160 or so from her massive size last season. Really enjoyed the first few seasons, but the last few seasons not so much. It needed to end.

Finally watched the last episodes. It was kinda “meh” for me. If Netflix had any balls, they would have brought back Rooster to kill Nick. But doubt you would have been able to end the series with Rooster back. I did enjoy the last episode though, glad the series ended on a good note.
