I read the book. It was crammed full of over the top high school stereotypes.

It looks like your typical misunderstood teenager, coming-of-age story fare.

Im a sucker for coming of age/teen movies but im uneasy about this one

I think i might just be tired of the damn "Be aggressive, passive aggressive" part of the commercial.

I want to see it. I'm getting sick of this teenage angst/i'm not cool because people just don't understand me/too smart to actually be able to relate to my peers bullshite movies though. You know what, maybe those people are just terrible. That happens. The cool guy doesn't always have to be a dick, but in Hollywood, they always are.

I like Watson a lot and for that alone I think I'll check it out.

Who do you think grow up to be writers?

It looks exactly as you all describe. I will probably watch on HBO in a year.

86% on RT, take that for what it's worth. I kinda wanna see it, but i think it'll be a redbox-er for me.

8.5/10 User Score out of 9,700 votes on IMDb.

Think I'll check it out, kinda reminds of Freaks & Geeks a bit.

Watched it a few days ago, liked it. Doesn't really break any new ground, but well done and has one or two legit LOL moments along with quite a few chuckles. Plus I want to pee in Emma Watson's butt. And Egg from Arrested Development doesn't look too bad these days.

Good film. I thought Emma Watson stole the movie imo with her acting ability.

I just finished the book, but my preference would have been to see the movie. Wasn't playing here for very long, I'll still see it next month when it's out.

Emma Watson did a fantastic job in this, but Ezra Miller did a really great job.

All around good film.
