His monologue about watching Simpson play in the '78 49ers-Falcons game was incredible acting.

When he started that monologue, I sighed because it seemed like obvious, lazy writing.

By the time he finished, I was ready to stand up and applaud. Damn that was some fine acting.

I was pumped up watching that scene with Cochran's monologue of that game. Pretty much as everyone else has stated; I can't get enough of the show. Only issues I have are the little Kardashian plugs and too many commercial breaks.

Intense scene by Goldman dad.

I'm not going to lie, that guy always creeped me out. I feel horrible about his son and I'm probably a bastard for saying this but I cringed when they showed the first glimpse of him.

I can't take his crying and he did it on National TV for about 5 years straight...

(Actor nails him...)

I've always felt very badly for the Goldmans, but at the same time, they bugged me any time I saw them interviewed on TV. It made me feel guilty because they lost a precious loved one to a horrific murder when he was doing a favor for Nicole.

They have every right to feel the way they do. I'm sure there are things we don't know about the way they were treated for their intense hate of OJ and for referring to him as "the killer" in addition to vehemently supporting his prosecution and being outspoken about it. It was the way they did it that bothered me, but it shouldn't bother me. Nicole's murder got so much more attention than Ron's did. I'm sure that was hurtful to them because in their lives, Ron was just as loved and as important as Nicole was to people who loved her and to the public. Still, I agree that he gave me the creeps in some ways. Those two people went through a living hell in a very public manner.

So I'm just going to say it, I thought he was digging for gold to replace his son.

I agree with everything you said, at first but after watching him (in particular) with that pedo mustache call a press conference every other day to cry about injustice and then once he got his judgment he was on TV going, we got a judgment but OJ is hiding it from us, our son, our son....

I know I'd rot in hell, if I believed in it but I just had enough of that guy crying for the cameras...

It got very old. I think they wanted to hurt OJ in any way they could since he got off the murder charges. They were raw and OJ was an pompous cocky a-hole after the acquittal making things worse. I would think Petrocelli would have warned them that collecting the judgment would be difficult if not impossible in some ways and for some of the money.

After awhile, people can become immune to the whining. I remember wanting to say "give it a rest and go mourn your son and brother". I can't be in their shoes, though, and I hope I never am. As long as they keep it all alive, they will never get any peace.

I get what everybody is saying about the Goldmans but that was kind of day what sucked about the entire ordeal from the murders, to the bronco chase to the trial.

Everything about it was so goddamned over exposed. We weren't used to any of it. That over exposure hyper analysis made every part of it annoying, even the genuinely sympathetic parts. The sensationalism of the actual event is also what makes this over dramatization of this show so fricking on point. It's so good

The sensationalism was about OJ and Nicole. Ron's murder was just ancillary. The Goldmans fought to keep Ron's name in the press. To them, he wasn't ancillary.

That's my problem, what do you get out of that other than notoriety for a civil case?

After a while I just came off as fake and Gold digging.

And btw, it was unnecessary, that civil judgement was assured the moment OJ was arrested.

The press also chose to cover the civil trial, but it wasn't about Ron to the press. It was all about OJ.

WTF?? The judicial system failed to convict the murderer of his son, so he sought to inflict pain on the scumbag through the only means available. If I were Goldman I probably would have taken things into my own hands and tried to kill him.

I didn't follow the case closely so I don't know how Goldman was with the media back then. But hearing the actor playing him describe the details of his son's murder would be more than enough to excuse any lack of composure he may have had at the time.

I'd likely be obsessed with inflicting pain upon him and would hope he's being arse raped daily in jail now.

I was perplexed how this guy got acquitted then, and I'm even more amazed now as I watch this show. WTF were people on the jury thinking?
