Norm McDonald is criminally underrated ad a voice actor.
I've got a theory that it's because he and Adam Carolla are basically interchangeable, both don't get the voice acting credit they should.

I’m pretty sure he was going to eat her.
As for the show overall it’s a weirdly enjoyable experience. It’s both underwhelming in being a knockoff but then you get past that and like it for copying Star Trek so well. I was surprised when I checked the cast on IMDB and Brent Spiner wasn’t doing the voice of Isaac. The guy they got does a really good Data impersonation. This is basically the Star Trek formula with about 15% more humor.
They’ve gotten some pretty big cameos too. Rob Lowe was great and so was Charlize Theron.

I'm watching it right now. I watched the show with Rob and his sons - I think it is the "Lowe Files". As soon as he started talking I realized that it was him playing the Blue Guy. I had to look it up to make sure though. Crazy.
Oh, I wanted to see Bortus sing damnit !!!

Liam Neeson as well.

The guy who was the dictator in the "Stars" episode where they thought their starship was the universe was in a Next Generation episode. He was a doctor or biologist.
He was promised to Troy by her and his parents. But, neither of them were really crazy about it. The Enterprise encountered a ship full of people who had some kind of illness that they weren't welcome anywhere. He had been having dreams of the chick who was the leader of the people on the ship. He left to be with them to help find a cure.
The black guy who is an admiral or some high rank was in just about every rendition of Star Trek ever made.

Well that was VERY DIFFERENT. The show goes from crew members stranded on an alien planet having to fight off alien zombies in one episode to the captain and his ex-wife 1st officer competing for the affection/love of a blue alien in the next.

Liking this episode so far.
Weird, but the depth onto Alara is working.

Another great episode. I'm trying to think of a better show on Network TV and I can't.

I liked the whole season. A lot of thought provoking episodes that were by and large well done.
Anyone know who the chick from the beginning of the finale was?
ETA: Her name is Kyla Santoro

1.) Respect the fricking Prime Directive.
2.) I wish we could have seen them hang around for 11 more days to see the next leap for that society.

Lamar FTW
That intro was actually fantastic though. Captain off duty wandering the halls looking for something to do
That type of stuff makes this show so damn awesome. Really shows what life on an intergalactic ship could feel like outside of the adventure/exploring stuff.
And it doesn’t hurt that like another poster said so well, these are the C students from the Academy
Will miss this and hope it gets a full season order next fall. Lots of shows benefit from the shorter seasons but this is a show that could fill 20+ hours pretty easily imo.
