My .02

Merle is with the group in town and has assumed a pretty big role in said group. They go to barn to take it over and Darryl saves the group by stopping his brother but has a major decision to make about staying or going.

I like the show and like Rick. I think he is what the people really need. If you can't keep your humanity, just eat a bullet and be done with it.

Dale/Shane...Shane half assed story of what happened with Otis was a joke. Everyone should have seen right through it. Dale confronted Shane in the swamp with the guns and basically discovered what happened with Otis, so as far as that goes...doesn't take a jedi to put that puzzle together.

Hershell...I think he is the guy from Tremors...time to go to the "safe room"

That's a stretch, but it would be awesome.

Still haven't read the thread, but I thought Sunday's episode was really good. Had a good mix of dialogue (which I do like sometimes), zombie, and then some nice action at the end. You cuold tell the bar scene was escalating, but I wasn't sure which way they were gonna take it...I'm glad they went with chaos and had badass Rick show up for the first time in a while. That was nice.

Interested in seeing how that plays out. Also, good to see Herschel finally realize what the zombies really are, and accept it (through his own terms, a.k.a. the bottle).

Definitely a solid mid-season opener IMO.

Either way...it's too long between episodes! I hate waiting.

Well in the previews it shows Darryl standing over someone saying "sorry brother" then pulling the trigger. I have to believe he will be a walker for him to kill him.

If this new group rode into town, chances are some walkers followed. This will lead them to the barn where all hell breaks lose. Then it comes down to who the leader is and where they go from there, and if all as a group or not. It will also give them a chance to kill off some boron characters.

I'm hoping Hershel's daughters who is sick turns into a walker and eats her family in the night as they sleep. After all, she is the one who went to hug her "dead" mom and may have been but.

Does anyone have a link to the preview for next week's episode, or is there only that minute and a half Shane/Lori scene available?

My not so ingenious prediction:

The farm is threatened by outsiders and then at the peak of that fight the farm is yet again threatened by the Walkers. Leaving everyone to flee together and Hershel dying just as they are able to flee.

No way Hershel gets off the farm or gets past the end of this season.
