I love how Future Zeno was just chilling after erasing everything.

How come the anime stopped?

The anime stopped because they used all their resources to make the Broly movie. Plus I think they needed a break. The crew basically worked nonstop for like 2+ years.

I think there are also plans to maybe make one more movie and then bring the anime back for the new Moro arc.ehich has some potential. Could be wrong, though, haven't kept up with all the rumors lately.

Those late Saturday nights watching the sub are pretty cool.

That's basically it. The artists were time crunched and overworked. They're trying to prevent this from ever happening again.

It will be enough to let him be a factor, but still be just short of Goku. Cause Dragon Ball gotta Dragon Ball.

Random bump, but I’m about 35 hours into DBZ:Kakarot on PlayStation right now and if you love the show I would highly recommend it.

The game is pretty easy if you take advantage of certain buff mechanics and you literally play through the entire show. I’m on the Buu saga and I believe there are two DLC’s that involve the early seasons of Super (Beerus and golden Frieza).

It’s great man. I’m having a great time. It’s legit the show but you do the fighting. Good voice acting, open world, but also relatively linear. There are side quests but not a ton which is a relief.

My favorite thing is that I feel powerful as hell too, not always the case in previous DBZ games. You can also make it a challenge if you wish, but I’m here for the story more than anything.

New DB Super movie "Super Hero" trailer released.

Hitting US theaters in August.

Trailer

Gotta say, without the show going, excitement level is not near what the Super Brolly film was, but who knows.

Looks like this one mainly focuses on Piccolo and Gohan, which can't be a bad thing.

there has been a whole saga and almost another whole saga in the comics since the last DBS episode came out. No clue why they haven't had any anime episodes in a while.

But man, this current arc has been sooooooo dragged out. There are some interesting moments but they are releasing one a month and nothing has really been too different since like January's chapter. Like, the fight has been "I'm stronger...oh no he's stronger, ok now this guys stronger so I must get stronger. Now I'm stronger. OH no, he's stronger" for like 6 months. It is almost becoming a parody of itself.

you aren't wrong but trust me, the current saga in the comics is WAY more little power ups all around for everyone with no training at all.

From what little I know about the Moro and Gas sagas, they both kind of seem like old time DBZ (Cell/Buu etc) sagas than the rest of Super, no?

I think that's why I liked the Future Trunks and ToP sagas so much. They were quite different from classic DBZ type arcs and focused do much more on the Cellestial types than the traditional big bad guy like DBZ always did.

The Moro arc seemed like classic DBZ.

The Gas/Granolah/Heeters arc is just...I don't know. Maybe waiting a month for a new comic only for nothing to happen makes it feel SOOOOOOOOOO dragged out. It would probably be way better to read after it is finished than waiting so long between each issue.

But man it is annoying...all these arse-pull power ups and wishes are so frustrating. This arc seemed to be over months ago and yet now we are back to square one in the current issue

Is DB Super worth watching?

I watched the first episode, did they change the coloring of the show? Something seems different.
