I hate U6's Saiyans. It took Goku and Vegeta extreme, emotionally draining, life threatening circumstances to reach SS, but that little a-hole Cabba can do it within 5 minutes of seeing it for the first time? And that bitch Cauliflower can do it by trying to make her back tingle? WTF is THAT? AND Kale just happens to be a legendary Super Saiyan? To top it off, Cabba, Caulifa, and Kale look like they were designed in the 90s by the staff of the Yugioh cartoon. For such a hugely popular internationally beloved franchise, the production values are at an all time low for this series.

Right? Like, if they're going to make them teenagers why not model them on future Trunks or the Androids? Why do they have to look like limp-armed knock-offs?
Also, Kale's transformation goes from being kind of legit to cringeworthy when she looks like Broly in drag. Seriously couldn't have put more effort into that look?

It does piss me off with Kale's transformation as well.
Dragon Ball has proved time and time again that size and bulk doesn't really mean shite in a fight. Look at Nappa compared to Vegeta, Recoome compared to Ginyu, 2nd form Frieza compared to Final Form, Semiperfect Cell compared to Perfect Cell, etc.
Why do they feel the need to just take Broly and give him a bra and call it a new character? Make a new design for a female Legendary Super Saiyan.

Let the conspiracy theories commence. The Angels certainly seem to be up to no good. I don't know why I thought everyone would be allowed to stick around until the whole battle ended. That was just cold and quick

lots of people speculated, angels are up to no good. another theory is that the grand priest is zeno, etc.
as for this episode, that scene where the two zeno's x'd out the universe was intense.

Great episode. The fight scenes were really good and Frieza was awesome. The scene where dude just jumped off was hilarious. What do you do in that situation? Stay there and get tortured or just jump off and speed up your universe' erasure?
I'm one of those people. The Universe 9 angel looked menacing as hell after his Universe was erased. There's just something about the Grand Priest.
I don't think so. I do think he may have a brother or something along those lines. If you check out his bio, it says

It was kind of nice seeing Vegeta, Frieza, Goku, and 18 wipe out a whole squad like that...but man do I hate all the cuts to Zeno and the other guys.
It makes it feel like a kids show. (which I know it kind of is given the timeslot)

I loved how they continue to make frieza more diabolical. Usually he just kills them, but since he can't he just inflicts a ton of pain. Lol

The most logical theory I've seen is that essentially, Zen-Oh is the ultimate God of Destruction and the Great Priest is his "Whis"
Zen-Oh, just like Beerus, Champa, etc give no second thoughts to destroying... That's what they are born and bred to do.
The angles/Priest on the other hand seem FAR more devious and seriously up to no good. The way Whis always fricked with Beerus, yet acted as his lower level caretaker just doesn't seem kosher.
My guess is, Zen-oh, the God's of Destruction, the mortals, etc. Are all just pawns in some long con the Angels and Priest are pulling here.
Honestly, the Frieza addition may actually save Universe 7 and all of mortal life, because he is obviously up to something too where he is going to try to pit the celestials/gods against each other in some way.
This plan, whatever it is may be may actually throw a monkey wrench in the Angels plans.
Also, let's say, this is all building for an ultimate showdown with a Goku or Jiren, or both, against either the angels or God's or whatever and then one or both of them win. The where the hell does the show go after that? There will literally be nobody left in existence for Goku to fight.

I honestly think there will be a bunch of showdowns as the end, something like Goku vs Jiren, Caulifla vs Vegeta, Frieza vs Kale, etc.
Then something interrupts the tournament, and transition into the next arc.

I'd say Frieza vs Topo or Hit is the most likely showdown. Doubt Kale makes it that far (IIRC the Broly thing is just pure rage and I could see multiple fighters ganging up to knock the bull in the china shop off of the platform). Could actually see Gohna vs Hit as well given that it would be a battle of strength AND intelligence.

Absolutely will happen at some point.
In the spoilers for the upcoming episode (I think 100) Jiren will knock out Kale without saying a word. Kale will transform and knock out one fighter after another. Then Jiren ends her rampage.
I think we'll finally see Goku and Jiren in episode 101.

Kind of a filler episode this time around. Not totally without merit but reinforced the notion that 1. These episodes need to be 1 hour long or 2. this whole damn battle should be a movie. Waiting a week for this thing to progress a couple of inches at a time is agonizing.

yep. And the amount of recaps and exposition is infuriating.
Only 5 minutes have passed in the tournament. And frick Trillin for not getting back to the group after knocking that guy out.
I have to admit, I expected Krillin to pull a Bacteria flashback on the blind guy...and just rip a huge fart in his face, but I guess the shoe worked.

Don't get me wrong, I understand gratuitous still shots of fighter's faces is part of the dragonball aesthetic but...
And I feel like Frieza is going to get himself snuffed out before it's all said and done.
