highly doubt it and he shouldn't. that movie opened the doors for him to control his own destiny with selecting which films he wanted to participate in and not just take every role he could get in order to pay the bills. that is very rare for a young actor to have control over in Hollywood.

I agree. in 2006 the Oscars screwed up by nominating him for Blood Diamond (although it was worthy of nomination), but The Departed is what he should have been nominated for. I guess he kind of screwed himself by doing them both in the same year lol. he was nominated for both of those movies at the Golden Globes and was nominated for The Departed at the BAFTA's, but the Oscars only selected Blood Diamond.
