I was a little disappointed in the beginning scenes in Scranton, but it picked up at the end.
The Tallahassee scenes were great.
In future episodes, they've got to play up the Jim/Cathy storyline -- there was one quick stare this episode. I'm glad they're not forcing it and putting it in every episode, but they can't let it die. It just bring back the "creepy" Michael-type feelings.
Also, they've got to get more Packer involvement. He could be the lead character if they let him. His character is just fun to watch.

Weakest episode in a while for me.
Agreed. It was actually worse than I thought it would be. I figured they would try to make him have done something stupid, a la Michael stepping on his Foreman Grill. But they had him get his face apparently obliterated by a 5th grade girl. Just stupid and completely out of place.
Toby getting excited about self defense was funny though. But then Andy asking all kinds of stupid questions during the training to try to direct it to a little girl was just weird and stupid. And did I mention stupid?
The Strike/Scream/Run thing may be the funniest thing Creed has ever done though. That shite had me rolling.
The new store shite was just okay. The whole Ryan/Dight/Ryan thing with them impersonating was kinda funny for a few seconds, and then it got weird...and then Jim started in as the mom and it just got odd.
I'm not sure what direction the show is gonna take now that Dwight is named VP though...that could be a bad sign. Dwight has always been awesome because he craves power, but never really had any (and some of his best moments were when he got a little bit of power for just a little while, like when he was picking the medical plan or when he thought he had replaced Michael). I don't know how good it would work if he actually got some substantial power.
Also, I read something a few days ago that the chick who plays Kelly is supposed to be getting her own show soon. So I assume she is leaving the show too? And if so, what the hell is NBC thinking...she's one of the worst people on the show IMO, yet they think she can carry a new sitcom?
I couldn't disagree more with that. Packer is good in VERY small doses...just like most of the characters on the show. More Packer would make him suck more than he already does sometimes.

The Andy story line was stupid. I don't think that it would be physically possible for a little girl that size to do that much damage to his face without a bat or something. It was just dumb.

Yep. Scranton had a few good moments (Creed, Pam's back and forth with the little girl) but the premise was dumb. This was the weakest of the Tallahassee stories so far in the 3 or 4 they have done.
Potential Spoilerish
Guess with Dwight getting the job this is going to set up his leaving the show and spin-off?

Stanley eating pizza is funny? Man, some of yall must laugh at anything.
Yeah, it had nothing to do with it being unexpected, being pulled out of his triangle pouch, and him not giving a damn.

What bothers me is that they are trying to make him like Michael Scott. Michael Scott was one of the greatest TV characters ever!. What they are doing w/ Andy just isn't fair to his character.
Just let the Nard Dog be the NArd Dog!

Yep. Nard Dog should be rocking the obnoxious pastel pants style as a manager.
