How about ignore the context and go into like it’s 1956, there isn’t an online uproar, and watch a fun movie.
Maybe. Just maybe. Christopher nolan wanted to make a good movie and filled it with actors and actresses he likes because he thinks it would make an enjoyable movie and people who can profit off of rage decided to highlight anything they see as “flawed”

They’re absolutely going to see it. We’ve already seen in the review thread alone folks who claimed they wouldn’t “spend money for woke” but are talking about their tickets they purchased to go.
And off the internet, people are filling up theaters for it.

Pretty amazing, over stuff so insignificant.
Going to see the movie this afternoon, Nolan doesn't disappoint.

Or maybe people want an accurate representation of the foundational piece of art that inspired Alexander the Great to cross the Hellespont. Stop bastardizing history for the sake of DEI requirements of vanity awards.

Russell Crowe an Australian played a Spaniard Roman general.
Mel Gibson was born in New York spent some time in Australia and played William Wallace.
Yul Brenner a Russian played Ramses a Pharaoh in Egypt.
2 kiwis (jackman and Crowe) played two Frenchman set in the French Revolution in Les mis.
A bloody Englishman played Abe Lincoln in Lincoln.
A Russian Jew played Spartacus.
An Irishman played Alexander and roasario Dawson played a Persian
He made a good movie similar to how other good movies have always been made
