Yesterday someone posted a tracking prediction in this very thread. I said it seemed low and was surprised, that I thought it would make more and gave the reasons why. Some retard attacked me based on what other movies made with similar tracking. Keep in mind I said The Odyssey was being undersold on the tracking lol. Then others joined in on the rage attack. It’s sad, the brain rot is real.

Ellen Page is playing the role filled by Achilles in The Odyssey. Calling her Sinon changes nothing.

The way this was handled makes it seem like they changed the name after it leaked so they could say "see? She's not Achilles!"
Turns out, all the rumors were true. I think that's what these screaming Nancys are really mad about.

Well I think the idea was always to replace Achilles with Sinon. He didn’t want certain luminary figures in the movie to take away from you know what.

Depends.
It's got a $250 million budget plus a good amount of money spent on marketing. A lot of box office analysts are saying it needs to make close to $1 billion just to break even. R-rated sword and sandal epics that run close to three hours aren't really known to reach those kinds of numbers.

It’s another false narrative. Early tracking from actual credible outlets had it at $100-115 then one came out today that had $80-115 which is so silly it should’ve been ignored. My contention was that 100-115 was too low and it would at least hit $120 but these people need to lie so they’re just going to keep running with it.
