It's his best movie as a director since Letters from Iwo Jima. It's his best performance as an actor since A Perfect Day in 1993. Not saying it's a great film, but Clint hasn't been great in a while.
It never integrates the Bradley Cooper/DEA plot very well, some of the family stuff is tiresome, but it's the most range Clint has shown this century. Also, it's occasionally funny. I'll take Clint with a sense of humor over most of the self-serious crap he's produced this decade.

I really wish Mulaney and Davidson were reviewing movies somewhere. Like I'd be ok if this was on YouTube or a podcast or if SNL just gave them 10 minutes each week.

I agree. It was bad.
Had a good trailer too. Good director, good cast. But the movie was not good at all. Felt like a Hallmark movie.

It was ok, but not his best work. I still enjoyed it, but have no desire to rewatch it.

15, 17 and sully definitely show he is on the decline though mule was better than both. I’m a big Clint fan and don’t get the backlash to my post?
