Still to this day think that scene is the most perfectly written scene in the entire series. It shows how different the characters think, talk, communicate, and their intelligence level.

I came across a scene that rivals the dinner party and Scott's tots as most cringeworthy office moment.
For me the cringeworthy moments started to become too numerous and I quit watching because of it. I think it became the M.O. of the show and for some that may have been part of the charm but for me not so much.

The dog charity dinner episode has a number of moments
Nellie not knowing what a taco is
Dwight thinking the silent auction is a "guess the price" contest.
The gang trying to determine if the senator would give out his cell number to everyone or just to oscar

I have a mental block in giving season 8 any credit. I hate Robert California so much.

When Michael is at the job fair.
Michael: Yeah, I'm trying to lure these kids into my booth. But, uh, kids are very wary of being lured these days. Thank you 'Dateline.' That came out wrong.

Dwight: When I die, I wanna be frozen. And if they have to freeze me in pieces, so be it. I will wake up stronger than ever because I will have used that time to figure out exactly why I died and what moves I could have used to defend myself better now that I know what hold he had me in.

When Michael proposed to Holly, he did so with a giant ring bc the rule is "three years' salary".
Probably not underrated, but a thread on the OT made me think of it.
Boards colliding.

When Dwight is hanging out with Isabel at the Chuck E Cheese's place and Angela is following them around. Dwight is startled by Angela and yells frick! Gets me every time

"No one asked you anything ever. So whomever's name is Toby can take a letter opener and stick it into your skull."?

And at the end Isabel smacks Angela on the head (like the whack-a-mole) and Dwight busts out laughing and goes “You are one impressive specimen.”
Dwight killing it with Isabel is one of the best things on the show.

In "Valentine's Day" in Michael's Faces of Scranton video he is showing to David Wallace and Jan, his voice-over introduction of Stanley is pure gibberish.
quote:
This is Stanley Hudson, one of our talented salesmen. An African-American father of two, Stanley's dedication is no doubt one of the hallmarks of the foundation of the business we're hoping to build our basis on.

But the first episode with dwight as acting manager was hilarious.
He had them saying the pledge of allegiance in the morning
