Just like last year, the first out is someone everyone has heard of so they can make people think, "It could be big stars in the masks!" The first out next week will be someone everyone has heard of and then the rest will be the C or D list celebs or has beens that make up the cast. FIXED? DUH!!

The big stars probably have it in their contract. They do the least work and probably get the biggest check.

So, we're saying Busta Rhymes, who's had two almost-hits in the past 20 years, and is now best known by the demographic that watches this show as a dude on the Hamilton Mixtape, is on the same fame level as Lil Wayne?
I'm not sure about that. Last season is the only one that had a winner who wasn't or wouldn't be known to a mass audience. And all 3 seasons had very well-known runner-ups, at least to people over 30.

no. the masked singers all competing to win based upon audience voting. because the show is prerecorded the voting comes from the live audience only. the people who attend have to sign forms they will keep it a secret.
whoever gets the fewest votes (for whatever reason) they are then eliminated at the end and have to reveal themselves after the panel guesses.
the guessing off clues and voice is purely for fun. however, this season they seem to have finally added some incentive for the panel being correct. they are keeping a score and going to give out a golden ear.

It's worth noting that early on in the season, the judges' guesses are wildly inaccurate on purpose. In S1, it was obvious that the Bee was Gladys Knight from the moment she opened her mouth, but where's the fun in pegging her identity right out of the gate? They drag it along for several weeks and then as they get closer to the finals, the guesses miraculously get "better".

after the first 5 i was like damn! it's going to be tough to pick a loser...then rourke showed up.
Croc was really good
seahorse is good..and hot

I think Popcorn may be Taylor Dayne. She's got that thick Long Island accent, and it sounds a lot like her, particularly with the 80's clues in last night's package.

I think the Sun is Stevie Nicks.
The clues last night sent me in this direction. She mentioned that she come from a dysfunctional family and the word "Rumors" appeared...Well Fleetwod Mac was did have a rocky relationship and "Runors" was their breakup album.
Also, I think Stevie Nicks can hit the notes this person was singing.

I get the clue connection, but I don't hear Stevie Nicks in the Sun's voice. She's got a much raspier tone.
