Started it last night and through just one episode.
Pretty predictable that they would add conflict back to the show. But man was the 3rd act sad. And I’ll say it again, her dad is the best character on the show. Lots of lol moments those first 10 minutes.

How is this show? I haven't seen much about it on the rant but I see the critics rave about it, for what thats worth. I tried watching the first episode with the wife and had to shut it off because it looked a little to quirky and had a musical element to it, and she wasn't feeling it.

The series starts off with her being a Jewish princess in a 50's NYC fairytale. They're just setting her up for the entertaining conflict that follows. I'd give it a few episodes.

The wife is not much of a binge-watched but she binged the frick out of S1. The moment she finds out S2 has come out I can pretty much write off doing anything with her for the next couple of days.

I guess I will have to give it another shot. We only got about 10 minutes into the 1st episode and it was some sort of musical number so I immediately thought I made a mistake lol

I like the new guy and the pace of this is great.
Just like last season, no pandering and fantastic dialogue. Plenty of lol moments. I think I still have an episode or two left.

Her character as a plumber is hilarious. And I love how vulnerable she gets with authority figures.

Ep 1 was sorta meh but the rest of the season has been pretty great. Through ep 7 right now. Love this show. Ive never lived in the north east so i dont know shite about jewish culture but it really adds an original medium to the adventure.

Also her infiltrating the Catskills resort was top notch writing and execution. I never thought I would like this show. Amazon has done some great things. Man in the High Castle is a great show. Just started Patriot and it might be the best of all three. All three are pretty innovative.

This season is really good, it will be highway robbery if Tony Shalhoub doesn’t win supporting actor in the globes emmys. He kills it, funnier than last year. I think this season should clean house for all awards this year. Just an observation, my only gripe is I haven’t seen Brosnahans rack yet through 7 episodes.
