It's one thing to follow a story of a masked emotionally-stoic Mandalorian, but she was mostly unmasked, and was, frankly, unlikeable as the (unwanted) co-lead of the season. I would have preferred her to just stay masked, in hindsight.
By costrast, Gina Carano was tough SOB, but had plenty of warmth in-between taking down some fools. Ahsoka, as well. I'd rather Katan's story not be told if unmasked Mandalorian's are portrayed as dank & dour as she was.

Didn't she just lose her throne and home planet? I do not know her story but I figured she was a warrior/soldier who lost a lot. Not sure I want someone giggling and saying catchphrases during her introduction (for me) to her character.

The show needs to figure out if wants Grogu to be the main charactor or DJ and now the Mandalorians. Doing both just waters it down so much. You can't have this 50 on 50 firefight and then cut to Grogu hitting "yes" and "no" in this suit not doing anything but saving the day.
It just feels like Grogu was supposed to be the plot of season 1 and they forced it as a main plot of the whole show because Gorgu was "Baby Yoda is so cute!!!!".
The Mandalorian story is awesome and can hold 8 hours a season easily by itself. Forcing a toddler into an action show just doesn't work well at all.

Peopel are so mad that they involve the part of the show most everyone else likes.
Just finished the season.
I really Enjoyed it. I kinda Wish I knew More Mandalorian lore but overall I think It was explained well enough.
I have a toddler and he would absolute smash the “no” button over and over I’d put in that suit.
Also, great fight choreography. All the mandolarian scraps weee cool and the final battle scenes. Mando in the hall was great.
This whole show plays out like a video game I’m desperate to play

I started watching Rebels a couple weeks ago (squeezing in some episodes throughout my day when I have breaks between clients).
Highly, highly recommend. I really enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would.
