The pic, written by Hancock, centers around Deke (Washington), a burnt-out Kern County, CA deputy sheriff who teams with Baxter (Malek), a crack LASD detective, to nab a serial killer. Deke's nose for the "little things" proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past.

Glad Malek is getting into bigger roles like this. I know he was in the Freddie Mercury biopic, but his career has seemed quiet for such a talented guy.

That definitely looks good. Although the trailer makes it look like Denzel is the killer.

Denzels mid life crisis is him deciding he just wants to be an action/crime movie star

That’s a great cast and Denzel generally crushes crime thrillers so I’ll give this one a watch

Sounds like this movie could kick arse. Let's hope so.

Looks good. Diggin that violin music that comes in around the one minute mark.

Dude, he was in a film with Ben Stiller ("Night at the Museum") early in his career...it's been all down hill ever since for him.

He kind of got screwed by covid. He would’ve had Bohemiem and the James Bond movie back to back with this one to follow
My guess is he probably would’ve fit another prestige movie in there as well. Right before covid hit I feel like he was getting his push

Same. I've been a fan of his since The Pacific. Even though he was a supporting role in that miniseries, he was the most memorable character for me.

That last scene in the trailer looks like one of them is the killer

That's a damn strong trailer

Teetering in the edge of sanity Denzel is always the best Denzel

guess you have to have an Oscar to get on the poster
looks promising if the writing matches the acting talent
