This was me with John From Cincinnati.

I am expecting the same thing. I want to quit watching, but I keep hoping they will give us some sort of resolution on something.

i don't think i'm confused. it's just not entertaining/enjoyable and the forced confusion doesn't make it interesting

now when i say i don't think i'm confused, please understand that i'm not claiming to have a full understanding of every thing going on (esp the white people cult and their methods to break down live tyler AND what the frick their belief system is). i get the major themes/directions.

I'm guessing the book doesn't explain anything?

the book is only rated 3 stars on amazon and most of the negative stuff said that the story just kind of ends without any resolution

Read a interview before 1st show aired and he said its not about answers but about the after effects of the event.
Lost me right there.

yeah, I don't really care what happened during the event itself. I don't need an explanation on that. The show seems interesting to me so far, and I'd like to see how it plays out. I'm in for now.

I can live with that as well. I don't really care why the event happened. I just don't want a season full of cryptic references and storylines that never pay off.

If anyone says they get the cults they are just lying.

I would prefer to have an explanation of the event as, in my opinion, not providing one is just a cop out. Anyone can write a confusing show when the writers have no idea what happened themselves. While the show could possibly be good without an explanation provided for the event it also cheapens all of the acts committed by the population. Does the black guy really have some sort of telepathy? Are the people smoking cigarettes and not speaking insane or going down the right path? Are the dogs the souls of those who have departed?

Not providing an answer, in my opinion, just makes it too easy for the writers to cheat and not be held accountable. I don't know if I am in for another episode or not yet.

What's the likelihood that this show gets canceled after 1 season? 50-50 chance?

I want to know what the frick is wrong with chief? Is he in a lucid dream of sorts? Or experiencing something spiritual?

I could picture it being renewed for S2 and having a 90% chance of being canceled after S2 debuts.

i could see that

i don't see how they have enough material for more than 1 season...with these characters at least

is the daughter going to go to college?
is there going to be another cult?
is the crazy former cop going to be sane?
is the dad-cop going to fix the bagel machine?
