If you were to take someone who quit watching during season 1 and show them an episode from season 3, they would think it's an entirely different show with the same cast.

Well it is. This is a series that has to be watched from the beginning to have even the slightest clue what is going on. But I think it tells a very linear story, albeit accompanied by flashbacks and circuitous events which harken back or explain something previously viewed. Many "aha" moments. Of course many wtf ones too.

The reveal with Evie was masterfully done, the conflict between Kevin and Nora was brutal, and I find Kevin's interactions with Laurie to be fascinating.

What if this entire show connects back to LOST on it's finale somehow? It will be the most masterful trolljob in tv history.

From someone who hasn't seen Lost, would I be pissed/disappointed?

This show is going to go down as one of the GOAT for me

I just told my wife that the last 20 minutes of the episode the background music was a combination of take on me and opera. Lol

What an incredible episode. For me it is one of the very best of the entire series but I feel like I can say that every week with this show. The acting was simply superb and if they don't get some nominations it will be such a travesty. I knew I had heard the question about the baby before but I already forgot it was from last week. So much happens in an episode that I can't keep up. Curious what made Nora's response disqualify her when it was opposite of the mans. Perhaps she is pregnant. It all makes a lot more sense that in the future Nora may still be in Australia. I can not wait to see where this ends up.

LOST is my all-time favorite show. It would depend on if you like the ending or not. The ending of LOST has to be the most divided opinion on any show/movie ending ever.

I for one thought it was perfect, but there is a huge amount of people who absolutely despise it.

a possible interesting tie in with "Take On Me" from this episode. The music video depicts a man and a woman who find each other despite being confined to what can be described as alternate universes.

So do you think Nora may end up going through the radiation thing and end up in another dimension? Maybe she will find Kevin there or another version of him?

Nora/Sarah clearly know something about Kevin (End of episode 1). But don't want to openly express that.

"Surah 81", from the sign "Evie" was holding:

quote:

When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]

And when the stars fall, dispersing,

And when the mountains are removed

And when full-term she-camels are neglected

And when the wild beasts are gathered

And when the seas are filled with flame

And when the souls are paired

And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked

For what sin she was killed

And when the pages are made public

And when the sky is stripped away

And when Hellfire is set ablaze

And when Paradise is brought near,

A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].

So I swear by the retreating stars -

Those that run [their courses] and disappear -

And by the night as it closes in

And by the dawn when it breathes

[That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger

[Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position],

Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy.

And your companion is not [at all] mad.

And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon.

And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen.

And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens].

So where are you going?

It is not except a reminder to the worlds

For whoever wills among you to take a right course.

And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds.
