Fair enough. I just found that part of the episode to be weird.

Ellie and Dina literally travel from Montana to Seattle in one episode. That absolutely beats multiple episodes of them traveling.
They’ll be in Hardhome in 7 minutes next episode.

We skipped 5 years before episode 1, why is skipping a few months where not much happens traveling a problem? Theyd have to extend the show to 4 seasons if they tried to show the entire journey

The problem with game of thrones hardhome stuff was that no in world time passed in between traveling

Did I miss something...Why was Ellie in a hospital for 3 months?

I figured it was from the kick to the ribs but I could very well be wrong.

I'm not medical, so could be wrong, but I think the implication of the tube they showed coming out of her chest was that the kick punctured her lung. And that's why she was breathing into the that device, to build/show lung strength/capacity. I'd imagine that would take a while to get over in a primitive medical environment.

It’s not a problem, It was just a joke.

I personally find the show fairly boring, but I get a kick out of watching the show runners discuss the after the episode. They’re all excited and saying things like impactful, gripping, emotional, engaging and I just laugh a little. Do y’all mean boring?

Wasn't a huge fan of Tommy's casting choice but man he might be my favorite character in the show right now.

He's a real OG in this episode

Sounds like a certain bullshite episode in S1.

Given the town gets rebuilt, they mourn the dead protagonist, devise a plan, and make it across the country all in 55 minutes, that sounds dumb.

Overall pretty solid episode which was always going to be much slower to let the audience adjust to all the shite that happened last week.

Time jump caught me off guard but considering the town would never let Ellie or anyone leave after it was destroyed it makes sense as to why they had it

Ellie being in the hospital for so long does seem odd even if she had some cracked ribs or a punctured lung. Given that she seemed to in regular therapy my guess is it had more to do with her mental state than anything

Really liked what they did with Seth, he could have just been some one off old homophobic man but seeing him really stick up for Ellie this episode was great.

Tommy continues to also be a stand out really hoping we see more him in action going on.

This new group we were introduced for my is something I'm particularly hyped for as well arse their relations with the WLFs that's all I will say about it.

Speaking of the WLFs, Jeffery Wright is such a great actor and I just know he's going to crush it this season

Some people concerned with the pace might not know that this season is only going to be part one of a larger story. So far the pacing has been fine for me

Next week it looks like we get to officially meet Issac Wright's character and as well as some crazy infected action inside a subway which looks intense.

At the end of the day she's a terrible character. Plain face. Shitty emotions. Hard to get behind a show like this going forward if the father daughter element is literally killed by a jealous woman.

I think I’m done with this show I find it so unbelievably boring and killing off the one decent character (I know it’s in the game) is prob the last straw.

+1 my wife and I lol. I'm sorry, but I'm having a really hard time taking Ramsey serious this season. And it's not her fault, I blame Mazin and Druckmann's writing.

I don't think she was jealous. She wanted revenge.

Starting to wonder whether I’m going to finish watching this season. Not one of HBO’s best efforts.
