Something that never began wouldn’t come to an end. Maybe you missed the Adam and Steve part or the part saying this if only scenario being related to the overuse of a ridiculous term with anything gay related or first and foremost the “…” part.
Step outside your always looking to get offended view of life and realize what you have been trying to make a serious argument against.

…Stating hot females is still inclusive of watching good old fashion lesbian sex on tv but not the new stuff pushed with pudgy, manly, and overly pierced females which I guess can sometimes look like female Ron Swansons having sex. If one wants their sex scenes watched to look more Chasity and Chase Bono having sex with each other I am sure there is porn for that somewhere on the internet.

No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot understand your point here, sorry.
At the end of the day, no one wants you to actively enjoy gay sex or seek it out. We simply just want it to be seen as normal and nothing worth thinking twice about, in the same way you wouldn't think twice about seeing a heterosexual couple in any situation. If homosexuality in any form actively disgusts you, maybe re-examine yourself and realize you're the problem and work to be better. No one's gonna force you or your kids to be gay, and the existence of gays isn't going to threaten your lifestyle or humanity as a whole. Simply let it be a thing without worrying about it.

Just getting caught up in the thread. I have to say, there is some serious mental gymnastics going on in here to say that the Bill and Frank story progressed the overall story or was critical to anything. Much less an extended run time episode.
I'll admit, I don't like gay kissing/sex scenes on TV (but it is pretty easy to fast forward), but I don't think someone should get hated on for simply not liking it. I don't hate gay people. I don't like cigarettes, but I don't hate people that smoke cigarettes, it is just not my thing.
But whether the characters were gay or straight, that story line did nothing but tell a love story that had very very little impact or importance on this show going forward. And I'm sorry, but THAT long of an episode this early into a show, should be moving the story forward. And character building? They are both dead, their story means even less because of that (I realize they are dead in the game).
