Uhtred is vicious, but not feral. In the novels, and it translates well to the series, he’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he is simple in his honesty and he keeps expecting others, especially Alfred, to deal with him with the same simple honesty and it keeps putting him in a world of shite. To me he is a great “every man” character. Tell the truth, do the right thing and all will be well. Yet that seldom works out for him.

Honestly the music and cinematography is outstanding as well. The music builds up the moments and the cinematography carries the story.

They don’t shy away from skipping months or years.

My favorite Netflix show for sure.

This thread led me to bing watching all 3 season while i am home with t broken foot. Ecxcellent series. The pace was one of the things I like best. That and sexy Skade!
