7 part series delving into the unsolved murder of a nun in 1970. Dont want to say much more cause there are some crazy twists & turns. I am on episode 4 right now and it is amazing. Extremely well done and intense. This is one of those Netflix gems like HTMAM that came out of nowhere and is outstanding. Cant believe there isnt a thread on here yet. Anyone watching?

They didn't even interview half of the people or institutions involved in the case. It's a conspiracy-doc.

Is "How to Make a Murderer" similar to "Making a Murderer"?

Seems pretty in depth to me. Im sure they asked all the Catholic church players only to be turned down. Maskill and others are long dead. What other people are involved that they left out? Sounds like your familiar with the case, any other details you can give?

Just watched first two episodes. Very intense. This maskell was a huge POS. I think the bigger story in all of this will become his connections to the BPD.

Several.of the victims reported maskell actually bringing in police offers to participate in the abuse.

3 episodes in and I think you can say it is similar from the perspective of there being a murder involved, but this has a whole other angle/backdrop to it involving the church and repressed memories.

Wow....what a cluster this one is.

ETA: Jut power watched all 7 episodes..did nothing more than confirm what I already knew about the hypocrisy of that organized religion. They just want to move the problem around like its a game. F'EM

This is really focused on the Catholic Church and their history of abuse and cover-ups. The murder is just how the story begins and it goes from there. The Catholic church, as an institution, is disgusting. 99% of the people are good people but those with the power and those in charge of protecting the brand are scum and have been doing horrible things for decades.

100% agree. Finished this series today and it says a lot watching the archdiocese lawyers argue against the expansion of statute of limitations for sex abuse as well as the fact that Milooly is still an active cardinal in delware.

How can anyone with a conscience be a part of that organization.

And they rig the legal side to prevent going to trial and then offer peanuts after the fact to make the victims shut-up (and to make themselves feel good). Further, they send all the creeps to "re-education camps or retirement homes and/or transfer them across the globe and abusers never face the real criminal justice they deserve. Sick.

This documentary has become painfully boring (currently on the final episode, thank God).. I was intrigued through the first two episodes, but after that it's just a bunch of crazy old bats rambling and a lot of "he said, she said".

The only evidence they have of anything is crazy lady #_'s opinion.

Making a Murderer was wonderfully done with its setup and presentation. The Keepers is crap.

I am on episode 4 and rapidly losing interest as they introduced the character of "skippy" via the gay uncle Billy as potential being involved in the murder of Sister Catherine.

It is just reaching the bizarre and it is clear that with such an old and cold trail they will never "prove" anything.

The reveal about the destroyed evidence and the maggots angle were interesting. The final episode highlights nearly completely how evil the church was to simply shift known predators around within the system instead of immediately reporting to the authorities.
