It became a comedy as soon as I saw Zac Effron in super jacked mode. He looked like Marv from Sin City. The movie was alright, they glossed over so much, left so much out, and painted the dad in such a bad light that wasn't deserved to that level. Still...not too bad a waste of a few hours.

Just watched it. Thought it was OK. Maybe 5-10. F.V.E. portrayal was not accurate. Neither was D.V.E. death in Japan. Sportatorium exterior was spot on, as was the inside set. No Chris Adams

He should have played Kerry. Much closer in appearance than Lip.

No Chris Adams?! Heck there was no Chris VON ERICH.

I didn't like how they made Fritz out to be the bad guy. He had some issues, but Kevin will be the first to tell you what a "great man" he was. Just watch the Dark Side of the Ring episode.

Kevin was never considered for a run with the title, only David. He didn't hold the Texas title until the late-80s, and he certainly never pinned The Sheik clean. Kerry's motorcycle accident was over 2 years after his victory over Flair. The whole thing was out of whack.

Wasn't Kerry sloppy drunk, couldn't even put on his boots, when Flair gave him the belt? Then Flair got it back a week later?

Anyone have a review?

I thought it was very interesting and captivating. It wasn't flawless by any stretch, but difficult to compact that much information and character development into a 2 hour movie.

Like almost all historical biopics they took a lot of liberties with the facts and timeline to make the movie run better.

Aside from Ric Flair, I'm not really sure how else they could have big picture "fixed" it. It was a perfectly fine biopic if you aren't the "it's still real to me" crying wrestling meme guy.
