The Foreigner (2017 film)

One of the most unnessesarily convoluted plots of all time. And a surprising lack of action.

Its ok. More about Pierce Brosnan than Jackie Chan.

I actually enjoyed the IRA aspect of the movie. It's a very under told world event imo

What a waste.

Movie was beyond dull...it was billed as Taken and is instead a bizarre IRA movie.

IRA? Really? Is it 1992? Shite, I'd rather just watch Patriot Games if I want to go back in time.

And Chan has very little screen time. This is a movie that was incredibly dumb but needed to really dumb it down - if you're going to do IRA in this day and age then just make the whole movie entirely stupid.

The plot twists are totally unnecessary. It tries to be smart or almost like a Clancey movie...but is so thin...which is fine, go thin...be Taken, be Death Wish...but don't try to be Taken AND The Devil's Own.

One of the lamest "thrillers" of recent memory.

I thought it was above average. I was expecting a mindless action shoot 'em up but it had a decent plot. Maybe a little convoluted but at least it makes you pay attention.
