Agree with everything you said. I was thinking the same thing recently how it was better on syfy than amazon. I thought with the amazon money it would be just as good or better. Even the crap Cas Anvar pulled shouldn't have messed things up this much. They'll get on fine without him with Bull, it looks like.
Also, I think it helps to have Miller in most of the previous seasons. He was my favorite character. Even so, the show focused on way too much crap no one cares about and left some great material out.

You guys have to remember SyFy cancelled this, they probably saw the decline.
This show is Bezos pet project since he singlehandedly bankrolled the final seasons.
It's still good but a huge quality drop latter half of this season

S5 has ground to a halt, but I don't see how SyFy could have foreseen this. I think you give them too much credit. S4 was awesome. Nothing to suggest that S6 won't be better than 5.

i was really excited about this season after seeing the astroids hit earth but after that its been meh hoping last episode picks it up big time

I disagree. I think his storyline with Peaches is important to show how bad things are on Earth after the rocks hit. It’s one thing to tell us how many people died and show us pictures of tsunami aftermaths. But the Amos-Peaches storyline shows you how bad it is for the people who are left. People starving and without electricity or any way to communicate. Rent-a-cops turning into local warlords. Millions (billions?) of folks sitting around waiting for help that isn’t coming.
Also the Amos/Peaches/Erich banter has been entertaining.

“Because that’s his name.”
“Should I ask?”
“I wouldn’t.”
I will say, though, that I’m getting bored with Amos’ newly-found optimism and mercy. I keep waiting for him to go full Amos and crack some skulls.

When you concentrate the whole 2nd half of the season on Naomi on some ship, that tends to happen. Just boring. And I loved the first 4. Rest has been average to below average tv.

It killed the energy.
They should have cut her out of the season, and just showed the search from everyone else's eyes.
I ended up fast forwarding through her scenes.

LOL... yeah, I tried to turn on subtitles and... no English?
Umm, OK. The music was blaring out the lines right before the battle, but oh well. Not the same as Netflix, I get it.
Ep was weak. There were moments where it's apparent they tried, and I guess that's of some comfort, but damn, this season was mostly a wash.

Talk about expectations subverted... wow. Still, they did give props to the character , as best they could.
