Neat!

Ancient alien artifacts waking up and breaking through the crust of mysterious planets is EXACTLY how you get my juices flowing.

Stopped after watching about 30 seconds of the trailer. Don’t really want to know anything about this upcoming season, will make the binge watch session more enjoyable for me.

You could always red the book too...

I just started a binge watch of Man in the High Castle to be refreshed for S4, then saw the Expanse ad a few days after. Might stop with High Castle and restart the Expanse instead.

Buddy of mine had a relative involved with the writing team and S4 is supposedly going to be a bit of a mess. The book material was supposedly weaker and drama resulted in a lot of writers dropping out. Hoping for the best.

man i plowed thru season 1 a while back and it just didnt grab me. this is right in my wheelhouse too. i just wasnt buying the "mission" after they stole the spaceship and re-fitted, they could have gone off and started new lives (or something...)

i should try again i guess

Imo it got much better in season 2 but its one of those shows where I was really drawn more to characters and the world more than the story if you know what I mean.

Really looking forward to this and have been a fan since Day 1 on SyFy ..... by dayum, does everything have to have a "tick tock" in it these days?

Are we being subliminally programmed for something?

Oh, and .... tick tock tick tock tick tock

I think it really got going about 2/3s through season 1. I need to squeeze in a rewatch before his season comes out

I watched the first two episodes, and turned it off. It was only later, after reading all the positive comments, that I tried it again.

Season One picks up about where you stopped.

It really is good television.

Just finished season 1. I loved it and will press on but my wife is bailing.

Everyone tells me it keeps getting better?

Season 1 didn’t grab me either, but season 2 did. I’d describe season 1 as a lot of set up with a basic plot of the kidnapping mystery. In season 2 all of the setup pays off and the plot switches from detective mystery to high stakes solar system politics and is much better with the broader scope.

When I first started it I watched 20 mins then turned it off. I gave it another try and was glad I did. Also have read the books which are excellent.

I watched the first couple of episodes and just had no idea what was going on. Mainly because I had a lot of distractions when I first tried watching. So I hung it up. Once amazon picked it up I decided to give it another shot and pay close attention. I’d say it really starts getting good toward the end of the first season, and season 2 is even better. Small drop off in season 3 IMO, but not much. Still great.
