Are you a big fan of Mussolini too? You know the old saying, "Mussolini made the trains run on time."

Don't forget Chancellor Hitler. He did wonders for the German economy. He built the Autobahns, put people to work, and got things done.
Himmler was the biggest piece of crap in all of Chancellor Hitler's cabinet and deserves most of the blame. It's a shame he was able to kill himself instead of being shot in his own piss.

Aleksei German's late career style wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but some of you might appreciate his penultimate movie "Khrustalyov, My Car!"
"KMC!" doesn't deal with the post-Stalin power struggle like "The Death of Stalin" does, rather it follows a fictional military surgeon pinned as part of Stalin's "Doctors' Plot."
The two movies are nice companions, IMO. Both satirize Stalinism, with "TDOS" being the funnier of the two and "KMC!" being the bleaker, more impactful one.

. You american pukes can disrespect Stalin all you want but that man got things done and he took a nation of peasants and turned them into a world super power very quickly plus beat Germany for the most part in WW2. I know americans love political gridlock and government lies, and arguing about everything for 8 years. Well I like a guy that gets things done and Stalin fricken got things done promptly
This is right up there with the OTer talking about fighting shadow demons as one of the strangest posts I've seen on TD.

The Movie Channel has it right now. Showing it for a couple weeks.
