It’s because of the politics in the show they’ve gone so hard line on the topic. Anytime they behave this way you can trace it back to that. There are other shitty shows that have been defended but it only gets ugly when that’s part of the discussion.

It's an amazing display of stupidity. Hard to even imagine someone who doesn't understand the difference between entertainment and commentary.

Well there’s a problem when the guy who created the show admits to it and they’re still denying it. There’s no possibility of a real discussion.

Why did you call me fake news and a liar? For the third time, your first insults to me got deleted. You've called me a liar a dozen times, because I didn't agree with the supposed woke diner conversation. Not to mention delusional, denying reality, having double standards, lacking self awareness, etc., etc. You even implied that I was a racist of some sort. Why do you interact with people this way? I asked you a simple question and you went completely nuts. It was okay, I guess, as a bottle episode of a TV show. Nothing happened though. You could skip it and pretty easily pick back up in episode 3. Anything consequential that happened will almost certainly be covered in the "previously on..." segment of episode 3. By that, I mean everything consequential that happened could fit into 5 minutes of screen time.

I like the first episode. Started watching the second and checked out 8 or so minutes in. Just nothing there.
