I watched it about a week and a half ago. I liked it. There was a thread about it not too long ago with some negative responses in it, I believe. But I enjoyed it.

I thought it was gonna be somewhere between mediocre and shite...but I really ended up liking it a lot. Olyphant was excellent in the lead. Car wash crazyness was cool.

Just finished watching it last night,I liked it. I wonder if a sequel would be a good or bad idea...most likely bad.

not a big fan of this genre at all but got it from the decent reviews. Kinda usual predictable but the story kept rolling solid enough to enjoy the ride. I liked the classic use of fear and anticipation more than simple horror/shock. The splatter was spaced enough to elevate it to more than a plain gorefest.

Have you considered that it may just be your tv? Because no one else has complained of that.

pretty sure that is your TV. I saw this in theater and again at a friend's house and this was not a problem at all.

I can't stand him, actually.

ETA: I also had no problems with the film being colored too darkly (:racist:).

Are you kidding? Dude was solid in The Girl Next Door. He's got a good show on FX, too.

I had zero expectations. I thought it was awesome. Not really scary, just non-stop suspense/ action. There is something constantly happening, crazies, military, etc. It probably won't win any awards, and I have seen complaints about plot issues, but I really liked it for what it was. A non-top thrill ride.
