Hunter is probably second weakest guy left just because of how stupid he is.
This can't be overstated enough. He nearly pulled one of the dumbest challenge moves of all time, but Georgia saved his arse.
He would have lost terribly to most other teams on that challenge. Wes would have possibly knocked Paulie out in that game.
I don't think hunter is long for the game on his own. Wes calling his "young buck" dumb shite out was perfect. He's probably gone over how to handle himself in the game 100 times with hunter yet the moron still goes all on emotion and "I'm not scared of you" dumbassery.

Now with the change in format, I am curious how they will determine who goes in elimination and how many people will compete in the final. I am guessing at least 6 people will be in the final.
I'm just hope they don't curve the times like they did that season Cara won where Zach had like a 15 second head start for the final puzzle When he was probably dozens of minutes or even longer ahead of her on paper.
Looks like Paulie may break a rib or get the holy hell knocked out of him next week. I think that was him on the ground. Also lines up with the past respirator preview.
I hope Mattie destroys these chicks. She's easily the most likeable cast member left. Plus she's a fan favorite from her past shows. These girls are all half her size now with Kam gone.
The look on Turbos face after the no teams announcement was gold. He knew he actually got rid of a hindrance and probably thinks he can now destroy folks in daily challenges.

6. Hunter
7. Bear
Women
1. Cara Maria
2. Ninja Natalie
3. Mattie
4. Nany

Solid list, but I would put Kyle just slightly under or tied with Theo. He's much better than hunter and is crazy and saavy enough to get through tough stretches that Theo may not.
Hunter's intelligence and stamina are giant setbacks. He may even be last. All he has is strength over bear. Bear is probably a much better runner and way better at puzzles.
Cara for girls #1 is respectable, but honestly, if she goes into an elimination against Mattie or even maybe Natalie, she's toast.

It’s really incredible how dumb Hunter is.
The Wes/Da’Vonne stuff was weird. She seems to have been incredibly offended about the “knee on face” comment. I don’t think she realizes that putting a knee on someone’s head is a real grappling technique.
Then she threatens Wes and says he will be physically attacked when the show is over. He rightfully says that’s not good role model behavior to threaten someone for no reason. Apparently her idiotic cultish group of fans have now come for him on social media. Seriously, wtf is wrong with people?

Glad Wes, Hunter and Kyle didn't go home although Hunter isn't smart.

Nany sucks too.

He will call out the toughest guy possible in a challenge because of how stupid he is.

That’s my exact list too
Was so happy to see Ashley go home. He seemed like a cool enough guy but his reaction when being called into elimination is just annoying. You aren’t CT dude, you haven’t done shite to earn a walk to the finals you meathead.
I don’t know if MTV is asking them to play it up when they win but Bear, Ashley, and now Paulie’s reaction when they win this season is absurd.

The men’s side is continually strong as there are good competitors among the foreigners, the Viacom family reality stars, and even AYTO people. But they are just struggling to come up with women in the same league as Emily, Laurel, Evelyn, and Rachel.
I genuinely think that besides Ninja Natalie, the best they’ve got is Kailah, Ashley Mitchell, Kam, and Cara. And now that she has a kid with an nfl player, we will never see Theresa again.
I would love to see Louise on a real season but the problem is she’s so good that it would be almost impossible for her not to win. Same with Lindsey Jacobellis or the far more annoying Lolo Jones.
Btw, I love how this season is pulling the best ratings in years without Ashley M, a checked out CT, Zach, and Bananas.

Who did Theresa have a kid with?

I'm also curious if they'll move to a guy elimination week / girl elimination week format, or if they'll go back to the handicapped guy/girl eliminations.

Louise and Wes teamed up on a full season would wreck shite
Posted on 4/4/19 at 5:17 pm to Box Geauxrilla
My guess is they do a male and a female elimination each week. Like the elimination where Hunter and Georgia beat Chase and Ashley, except every person would be fighting on their own, instead of for a cumulative result.
Posted on 4/4/19 at 5:45 pm to Keys Open Doors
If I remember correctly, they used to do male and female separate round elims all the time, even just a few yrs ago.
What gets me is how they are going to fairly do the final. And by fair, I mean not curving the games at all.
It's obvious that a Turbo or Wes or Paulie would absolutely beat any girl on any physical test by a mile. They would also probably beat them handidly in any kind of swimming or eating challenge.
So really, that only leaves puzzles or some kind of mind games as a way for the girls to even get close to one of the top guys.
I'd be fine if they had 4 phases or something. One swmmiming, one running, one eating, and one puzzle round all that count equally in points.
Let's just say each stage win is worth 20 pts. 2nd is either 15 or 10 pts. 3rd is 5 pts and 2 pts for finishing. (or whatever kind of scoring system they'd want)
That gives a puzzle winner a big haul, but it also doesn't discount the rest of the skills that a final used to pride itself on.
It also makes it where a guy like Hunter could get smoked by a girl like Cara who can do puzzles and run. Hunter would finish far back of her in a distance run and probably finish dead last in a mind game.
Thats as fair as I could think if making the final without bending over backwards to handicap a well rounded strong male player.

As with real sports, the men are the ratings draw. Viewers just want the girls to be slutty or drama queens. No one cares about women's athletic competitions.

I think easy E was worse than Tony’s gay brother
Posted on 4/4/19 at 8:05 pm to Jack Daniel
Easy E actually became a sympathetic figure his last couple of seasons. Especially after he lost some weight.
He was so big but so terrible. And everybody knew it. Those old school seasons were always him and Katy partnered together. What a shite show.
He will never live down that inferno season where that absolute shite stacked team was literally dragged down by him and his inability to run 3 or 4 miles.

Only problem I thought of from a TV standpoint is that you don't get that "triumphant" I'm the first one across the final line finish.
Instead you would probably get a deceathalon type celebration where the winner usually ends up finishing 6th or something in the final 800m sprint.
He's not first across the line, but his point accumulation has totalled more than anyone else.
I think MTV wants that big TV moment where the winner summits the mountain quickest at the end and you know he's the winner.
