re: The Challenge s39 - battle for a new champion

Is this worth watching? I have them recorded but am struggling to care seeing as how there’s really no OG cast.

Just watched the first episode. It will never not crack me up how dumb these participants are. There’s 24 of them, and they’re all waiting in a giant blob to send one person over the wall at a time. Why don’t they have 3-4 different towers of two guys standing and sending people over at the same time? These people are legit so braindead it will never not be hilarious to watch.

Second episode.

Oh, Chauncey sucked at a challenge? Im shocked. Shocked.

And he’s asking people if he’s ever done them wrong and the first two day yes.

Everything about Chauncey is fake. His muscles. His talk. His confidence. Etc. He talks about he wants it the most and blah blah. And he definitely looks the part athletically. But he sucks at everything.

And James is gassing pretty fast. He looks the part too but cardio is gonna frick him.

Fake Michael B. Jordan is going home. I bet the real Michael B. Jordan would dominate Chauncey at the Challenge actually.

Jordan do what Jordan does. I liked Ciarran. I like the cast more than I thought I would.

And yea… Moriah’s arse. It’s bananas. Why didn’t we see more of that last season?

Tough break for Ciarran, getting Jordan instead of Asaf.

Has to be demoralizing when Jordan is taunting you and giving you free points and you still lose.

Watched E4 so I’m caught up now.

I love how Corey is all upset at people reacting to him putting what should’ve been his #1 guy ally into the elimination. What the frick did you think would happen? I like the swole dude (James?), but he’s sort of an idiot.

I love how pretty much every gay dude on the show ends up either being super annoying (Hughie) or emotionally unable to handle the game (Corey).

I like Cirrian and Asaf both. I do think there are some decent additions to the Challenge if these start to become regular cast members. Guys and girls both actually.

Oh shite, a draw. Wow. Chaos is right. It’s crazy how much I used to hate Jordan and now he may be my favorite cast member of all time. I’m so glad he’s back as a part of the show again after being gone for several years.

Sucks for Cirrian and I love that Asaf seems like he legit wanted to compete against Jordan.

This should be a fair matchup but obviously I have to favor Jordan. He’s a monster.

I assume Jordan has some weird strategy going on. At least I hope so.

Hahaa. Yup. Wow. Even giving him a 2-0 lead Jordan wins by 3. And he gets his little lead and then sits on the orange ramp waiting bc he knows he’ll get enough to win all while conserving energy. It’s crazy how good Jordan is and how much strategy he uses. And he’s killing time sitting at the lights. Dude is a beast at strategy. And what’s funny is that outside of a few bursts of energy it seemed like light work for him.

Emmanuel turning his back to Jordan is hilarious. I get it. Jordan’s a cocky a-hole. But damn dude you at least have to respect what he’s done on the Challenge. And he just came in and toyed with what y’all said was the best dude in the house.

You don't really want challengers getting sent home in chaos elims... The mercs steal from the pot.

It costs 10k to send someone home.

Horacio is playing a great game.

Michelle had been up until this last episode. No need to get all pissy over them picking the dude you were partnered with for one challenge. Must have more chill.

I think Cory is the only "contender" I'm familiar with. Everyone else is from some show I've either not watched or never heard of. I guess that's necessary though since they haven't done a season of The Real World in years.
