Ezra probably not born yet, or just an infant.

Ezra was born the day Palpatine took power, so he's probably a few months old at this point. Sabine is a year older than Ezra, so a toddler right now too.

I think this has been my favorite episode so far. I like that they’re filling in backstories of other established characters. Hopefully we get to see Maul and Crimson Dawn in the series

Since they are connecting the dots between CW and Rebels I would not be surprised to see Lando at some point as well. He made cameos in Rebels and would fit into the story line well. Another one I would not be surprised to see is Hondo Ohnaka.

This episode was to setup the next. I expect the next episode or soon a rescue mission to that planet to release people and/or an extraction of the young one and her droid.

The next episode is titled Rescue on Ryloth.

Watched it last night, and this episode was much better than the last couple of weeks. I’m glad they’re touching on Hera’s backstory. I’m not a fan of the accent they gave her though.

I thought the same and googled to see why they changed her accent. Apparently it was her natural accent that she later learned to speak without but she slips back into it talking to her dad in Rebels

Twileks apparently have French accents.

It comes naturally as a result of all the times they’ve been conquered and occupied

The same as I think he could fit in anywhere in the SW galaxies.

He could easily fit in with The Mandolorian. In the new Rangers of the Republic timeline he runs Ohnaka Transport Solutions, which is a front for smuggling. Ashoka worked with him in Rebels so he could appear in her upcoming series as well as the Book of Boba, who now runs Jabba's Palace.

He could have his own spinoff as well.

And they did. Good episode.

I was so afraid Captain Howzer was about to get killed but he managed to do something… not the last we see of him.

They've certainly made him noteworthy enough to be a recurring character.

Will Vanessa Marshall play Hera in live action as well or is she too short? (Marshall is like 5'1)

If they can make Tom Cruise look tall they can do it for her.

I've never met Vanessa, but looking at pics Vanessa is above average height for a woman. IMDb has her listed as 5-8 1/2.

Here's a pic of her with the rest of the cast of Rebels- Steve Blum right next to her.

For reference here is a pic of me with Steve Blum (listed as 5-11) and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (5-8) from the Rebels wrap party at Skywalker. I am 6-1. So Vanessa is well above 5-1. Perhaps you are thinking of Ashley who is listed as 5-2.

I might have gotten Marshall's height confused with Hera's (she is short)

It's kinda of hard to tell with animation as I think the sizes can vary. According to Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Hera is 1.76 meters which is just over 5-9. Im not sure how canonically accurate it is, but Wookieepedia uses this as it's source. Kanan is listed as 6-3 and that would be about the right difference between them in most pictures of them standing together. There are some pictures where Hera does seem smaller but in many it is hard to tell if that's a perspective issue. I don't think height would be an issue with Vanessa playing Hera in live action.

The same source lists Cham Syndulla as 6-3. She's not 14 inches shorter in this shot

I thought she was shorter than both Ezra and Sabine.

She is usually portrayed about the same height as Sabine and definitely taller than Ezra to start. By the end, the three of them were roughly the same height. I'm sure Ezra is taller now, where ever he is...

The only picture I can find that seems to have Hera much shorter is the Finale poster. But I *think* she is supposed to be standing in front, down a little down a hill.
